We are Paulina and Victor- a Polish-Cuban couple specialized in kizomba traditional, kizomba fusion, semba,cuban salsa and bachata. We can give classes in English, Spanish, Polish, Italian and Portuguese. Victor is a Cuban dance teacher from Havana, Cuba since 9 years with a lot of experiance in all kind of latin and african dance adored by students at all ages. Paulina is a dance teacher that learned everything travelling around Latin America and getting the most valuable tips from different teachers in different styles and countries. Since 2018 we have been teaching together in dance schools, privately and also during RitmoCuba 2019 Festival in Havana. Currently we are in Szczecin, Poland teaching privately and in groups and giving workshops in other cities :) We might me some weekends in Zurich, Switzerland so just contact us and maybe we can schedule a class! I am from Zurich, and offer all of my classes to Swiss-German, German and English speakers. I am a Yoga Alliance certified teacher in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. I started practicing yoga during my studies seven years ago. Yoga felt so natural to me and my body. It didn’t feel like something new or strange. Yoga gave me a place of home again. Like my body, soul and mind found a place; an alignment within, where I found my truth and center. To me, yoga is first and foremost a spiritual and meditative practice. Asanas (poses) in yoga are used to calm the mind. The body is merely a tool used to train, and essentially reach deeper meditative states. Nonetheless, I want to help each one of my clients to connect deeper to their bodies and unlock its true potential. In yogic tradition, controlling the body starts by controlling the mind, by being aware of your thoughts and the vital role that they play. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and appreciative of your body, so that you may feel and realise a positive change in not only your physical appeaprance, but your entire physical and mental well-being as a whole.

The yoga flows are always based on a specific topic, to which I bring inspiration, ideas and knowledge from yoga that can be combined with the respective class. To create a perfect atmosphere I also have different music playlists for each type of sequence and some incense sticks or essential oils are always included to make these yoga times a holistic experience. I teach in German and English and easily adapt the sequences to the needs of the participants so that everyone feels safe, has fun and enjoys it.

I have a great interest in the holistic view of yoga. This is why I strive to include in my classes different elements that make up the practice of yoga. To describe my classes to you, I would say that they are sequenced around a flow, with additions of pranayama and breathing techniques, mantras, meditation, sometimes songs in Sanskrit and other techniques depending on the level of my students (bandhas, mudras ...) I teach Hatha yoga, Vinyasa and Yin yoga. Also, I really like the relationship between yoga and sounds. Most of the time, I offer sessions with music. In Vinyasa, I use it to make the flow even more fluid and in Yin, the sounds accompany us to help in the stillness of the poses and because I deeply believe in the healing power of sound.
