My name is Suyeon and I'm a professional concert violinist who has a bachelors and masters degree from the Juilliard School as well as an artist diploma/konzertexamen from Hans Eisler in Berlin. I studied under Itzhak Perlman since the age of 16 and under Don Weilerstein since the age of 15. For a time, I traveled the world to play concerts and recently I got married And have decided to slow down a bit. I have recently moved to Geneva for my husband and would love to teach. I have taught quite a bit in New York (all ages and all levels), many of those students were directly sent to me from Itzhak Perlman. I live in nyon but can be mobile. My fee is 100 an hour but can be negotiated. I am fluent in Korean and English, and French is proficient but not fluent. Please PM me for more details! Hi!
I'm a Juilliard trained classical violinist. My mentor for 10 years was Itzhak Perlman and Don Weilerstein. Until recently, concertizing has been my priority while teaching on the side, but these days I have been wanting to teach more! Teaching the next generation of musicians has always been a dream and I love teaching young kids but I believe that you can start music at any age! I always want to motivate people into loving music like I do!

I have been playing the piano since childhood and it is a real passion. I hope to be able to pass this pleasure on to future students so that they too can discover the magic of music!
Having followed piano lessons at the Popular Conservatory of Geneva for 10 years, I wish to be able to transmit my knowledge and my experience.
The course will be divided into 3 parts; the first which consists of warming up the fingers with small exercises to develop the technique. Then do some sight reading, and finally learn a new song.
Obviously, this is not necessarily a procedure to follow. I don't have a precise method, I think it is important to adapt to the student and to focus on his difficulties and on what he is interested in.

My lessons adapt to everyone's expectations and pace. It is characteristic of private lessons that can really be as close as possible to the students, without the pressure linked to institutions such as music schools.
When possible, students can play in groups, sometimes I even organize a small orchestra with all those who are interested. Two hearings on average per year allow you to meet and give a purpose to the work.

I offer fun, individual or group musical awakening lessons as well as violin, viola and viola da gamba lessons. (The latter is a bit exotic and discovery sessions are possible for lovers of early music as well as for the curious)
Each student has their ambitions and desires, so it is important to tailor-made education with personalized objectives.
Graduated from the Haute Ecole de Musique in Geneva, the Royal Academy of Music in London as well as the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, I perfected both ancient and modern music. I am a cellist in the 1st year of a Master's degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève.
I started the piano at the age of 7. I took private lessons for 7 years and a year at the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
From 2019 to 2021, I took piano lessons at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève for 2 years as a secondary instrument.

Dear parents, dear students,

I offer cello lessons for children from 4 years old, for teenagers and for adults, whatever their level.

With 10 years of experience in teaching cello, I adapt to the specific objectives of each student. One of my main educational objectives is to awaken and nourish the pleasure of playing music while ensuring structured learning.

I taught cello for 6 years at the Geneva Conservatory of Music and 5 years at the Vincent-d'Indy Music School in Montreal and I am committed to creating a learning environment where pleasure and musical progression go hand in hand, whether you are a beginner or already have some practice.

Recommended timing by age:

At the end of my master's degree in pedagogy, I give oboe lessons at all levels for young and old. I already teach at the Saltarelle, a music school near Lausanne, and have done several replacements, notably at the Conservatoire Populaire de Musique, Danse et Théâtre de Genève. I am a very sociable person and have no trouble getting along with my students. I can travel to your home to a certain extent and giving lessons by zoom (or other platform) is also possible.
