✨ What to expect?✨ 🌻 She is an experienced, patient and committed teacher and musician with a Bachelor’s degree on Jazz Piano and currently studying a masters in composition at HKB. 🌼 Different styles (jazz, classical, pop, world music...) 🌸 Personalized and tailored lessons for all ages and levels. 🌺 Technique, improvisation, harmony, composition, rhythm, music reading, accompaniment for singers... 🎶 What’s stopping you from mastering that song you love?🎶 ✏️TEACHING CONCEPT. ✏️ 💡 I like to approach music as a language. Just as we learn to speak by first listening, understanding, recognizing, and imitating words before learning to read and write them, I believe that musical learning should follow a similar path. That’s why I place strong emphasis on aural development, listening, and internalizing sound before focusing on notation. 💡 My teaching is based on experience, intuition, and exploration. I aim to create a space where each student feels free to play, discover, and express themselves, encouraging them to follow their own curiosity and find personal meaning in music. 💡 I always adapt to the needs and goals of each student. Some come with a clear desire to study classical repertoire, and in those cases I introduce reading and technical work from the beginning — but always in a way that connects with the music’s expressive and structural elements, not just as abstract exercises. I believe analysis, understanding, and creativity can go hand in hand with solid technical and reading skills. Others want to accompany themselves while singing, or ask for tools to help them create and develop their own musical ideas. I enjoy guiding each of them through these different paths, offering a wide range of resources and approaches. 💡 I also pay close attention to each student’s musical interests when choosing repertoire. Whether they’re drawn to classical, pop, jazz, or music from games or films, I believe it’s possible to build strong musical foundations by working with music they connect with. No matter the style, we can explore technical, rhythmic, harmonic, and expressive aspects that will contribute to their overall development and motivation. ✨My goal is to nurture a deep, joyful, and personal relationship with music in every student, regardless of age, level, or background.✨
Piano · Keyboard (music) · Music theory
Dear music lovers, I am a pianist and composer, graduated from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris and currently a professor at the Conservatory. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to students of all levels. I also offer lessons in writing (harmony, counterpoint, fugue), composition and improvisation to anyone who wants to discover, learn or improve in these different practices! In a few words, what I can offer you: Learning classical to contemporary music, current music Improvisation alone or in pairs Learning to read solfège Interpretation of works for 4 hands Preparation for competitive exams, entry to music school/conservatory, concerts, etc. Work on interpretation Develop timbres to make the instrument sound in various ways Learn to compose and develop musical ideas Anatomical and postural explanations Breathwork for acting and/or managing stage fright Composition of pieces adapted to the student's level Music is a precious art through which so many things, colors, and feelings can be expressed. It is thanks to it that I learned to know myself more deeply, to find a discipline that makes sense. I have acquired the certainty that everyone can gain beautiful experiences from it if they know what they can give for it. In fact, my courses are built according to your needs and desires, for this we will first clarify your objectives and the time you wish to devote to them in order to determine the requirement cursor for our courses. If you are looking for a teacher for your children, you are in the right place, I have a caring and yet ambitious approach as well as a great deal of experience with children from 4 to 18 years old. I have the art and the way of attracting students to the daily practice of the instrument: the vast majority of my students know how to read treble clef/bass clef and decipher a score at the end of their first year. Beginners are therefore obviously welcome, it is also possible to integrate a time of learning music theory during the piano lesson. I come to your home from Collonge-Bellerive to Plainpalais.

I recently started classes with Arthur. Arthur takes the time to understand what you want to learn and tailors his lessons to fit just that. He combines theory with practice and lots of singing tailored to your genre of music - accompanies you on the piano. He’s also a super nice guy to work with. I definitely recommend him for anyone who wants to learn how to sing.
