My violin and viola lessons are available for people of all ages, from the ones starting with the instruments until the pre-bachelor level. In them, I will help students to control their instruments in an easy way, from basic technique to specific to each chosen work, in addition to giving great importance to posture, movement, and body care, crucial for musicians. Although my main instrument is the viola, I also have extensive knowledge of the violin.

I teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced violin and viola lessons to all ages. My lessons are customized for each student’s personality, learning style, and abilities. I put a strong emphasis on developing instrumental techniques and fundamentals. With a good foundation, students are more easily able to express themselves in an imaginative way. I challenge my students with high standards in a learning environment that is fun and engaging. I believe that students learn best when they feel challenged, but also successful and confident about themselves. I am a detail-oriented and rigorous teacher but I find balance through patience and kindness. I maintain a keen awareness of pacing, interests, and motivation so that my students never get bored.

Hello! My name is Belemir, and I am a classical violinist living in Den Haag. I received my Master's degree from the Royal Conservatory in 2017 with the Orchestra Master specialization and my Bachelor's degree from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory in Istanbul. My training has to lead me to pursue an exciting profession of diverse musical styles and settings which has allowed me to meet many wonderful new people and to share our music and ideas with each other. Now after many years of education and performing experience, I would like to also share what I have learned (and what I am still continuing to learn) with you! As a passionate educator, I enjoy sharing my musical knowledge and experience with others – I even find myself learning from my students at times! I am aware that everyone is unique, and every student has different needs and ways of learning. Therefore, I prefer to teach in a way that is best suited to each student’s individual needs, and so, I do not follow only one specific method of instruction. I also offer to teach in various music styles such as classical, folk, jazz and pop! Looking forward to meeting you! Belemir

Making music is an opportunity that everybody should have in their life. Personally, I think it is a beautiful and alternative way of communication, which opens up new horizons of empathy and it carries important values such as respect and understanding towards others. Being able to play an instrument gives great satisfaction, allows us to have fun, and trains our brain for the complexity of combining the mental and physical spheres at the same time!

As a 1st violinist in Residentie Orkest (Den Haag), Francisca enjoys using her extra time to teach those who are music or violin enthusiasts. "I firmly believe that passionate and hardworking people can learn and develop their violin skills independently of their current level. However, for that to be possible, it is essential to focus on the background of each individual and accommodate the teaching method according to the student's possibilities and wishes. For the past 7 years I have been living in the Netherlands, I have taught students of different ages, nationalities, and levels. During my studies, I also had the chance to participate in a methodology course, which greatly influenced me as a teacher. I am also interested in teaching orchestral excerpts and helping with audition preparation." If you are interested and would like to get in touch, please send me a message. I would love to help you out :)

I'm a professional violinist and teacher, who graduated from conservatories in Gdansk, Maastricht, and Brussels. I'm also a violin teacher at The British School in the Netherlands in Den Haag. If you are looking for a violin teacher, you just found him in my person:) I propose individual methods of teaching, not based on any specific school, but open to the wishes and level of any single student. The most important thing is to have pleasure in the process of learning how to play the violin. My motto in teaching violin are words of my teacher, the legend of violin, Wanda Wilkomirska: "You can do something wrong technically, but always you can play beautifully." Being a soloist myself I always remember these words also when I teach. My aim as a teacher is to show you how to have joy and comfort in playing the violin to enjoy it further on in performing for an audience. Personalized exercises and attention to personal development. You will learn in a relaxed, but energetic way all techniques of right and left hand. Vibrato, sound, dynamics, scales, beautiful violin sonatas and concertos as well as music theory. Develop your musical skills on a broader scale and learn a natural approach to violin playing.
