I am a UK-trained violinist with a strong background in performance, orchestral playing, and teaching. What defines my teaching is precision, clarity, and care for healthy technique. I help students build a secure technical foundation while developing confidence, musical awareness, and expressive sound. I genuinely enjoy working with children and take pride in guiding them patiently and responsibly. With young students, I focus on posture, coordination, listening skills, and confidence, creating a positive and motivating learning environment from the very beginning. I also work with teenagers and adults, including returners who feel tense or stuck. My lessons are structured, calm, and highly focused, helping students understand how to practise effectively and progress with purpose. I combine high standards with a supportive and respectful approach, adapting my teaching to each student’s age, level, and goals. My violin lessons are carefully structured to develop strong technique, musical understanding, and long-term confidence. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s age, level, and physical comfort. I identify technical issues early and address them methodically, ensuring healthy posture and efficient movement. We work in depth on: • posture and body balance • •bow control and sound production • left-hand technique, intonation, and coordination • musical phrasing and stylistic awareness With children, lessons are patient, encouraging, and well-paced, building discipline and confidence step by step. With older students and adults, lessons are focused, analytical, and goal-oriented. My aim is not only improvement, but to give students reliable tools they can use independently in their practice.

Dear friends who love music. Would you like to enjoy music even more with me? - Violin, Viola, Piano and music theory/solfege lessons for all ages and levels in Den Haag. In my lessons, I carefully teach you how to hold the instrument, the shape of your hands, make a good sound, and how to practice to improve, all tailored to your levels. I believe that improving your instruments requires steady practice and patience at first. Even five minutes a day is better than not touching the instruments at all. If you make it a daily habit for a week, two weeks, a month, six months, or a year, your level will definitely improve, you will be able to play the songs you want to play, and you will experience the joy of playing. Even if you cannot touch an instrument, singing loud out or in your head can still practice, and you will realize how important it is for improving your musical ability and expressing yourself. Why not try expressing the words of your heart that you normally cannot put into words through the sound of the instruments? I would be happy to help you improve your musical life. My name is Sakura. I am a baroque violinist, graduated with a master of early music department at Koninglijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. I play the modern violin, viola, medieval fiddle and keyboard instruments as well. Happy to share the music with you with all of my experiences of my music life and what I learned. Started playing the piano at 3 years old and the violin at 7 years old, then went to the music high school and Tokyo university of the Art in Japan. Also, I have learned classical ballet, traditional Japanese dance, playing the Koto, etc. All of that experience and fun are in my music. I hope to help you enjoy music even more.

For me, violin lessons are about more than just learning notes – it's about expressing your inner world through music. My name is Ann, I'm a Finnish violinist and passionate teacher, and I live in Charlois, near Rotterdam. I enjoy guiding students of all ages—both beginners and advanced—on their path to confident and expressive music-making. What can you expect? My teaching approach is friendly, motivating, and focused on building a solid musical foundation. Whether you're learning to play the violin for the first time or want to further develop your existing skills, I tailor each lesson individually to your goals, interests, learning pace, and personality. I teach in English, German, and Finnish. I also speak some Spanish, Swedish, and Dutch. Trial lesson A trial lesson offers a relaxed opportunity to get acquainted, try out the instrument, and discuss your goals, favorite music, and practical matters such as scheduling and location. Don't have a violin yet? No problem—you can borrow one of my violins during the trial lesson. I'm also happy to help you choose or rent a suitable instrument. Classical music, tango and other music styles Besides classical music, I specialize in Argentine tango. I also have extensive experience playing and teaching other styles, such as contemporary music, Latin American music, folk music, and pop. My background I received my Master of Music degree from Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. Previous studies included Oulu, Helsinki, and Porvoo (Finland). In addition to my teaching, I perform regularly throughout Europe and collaborate with symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles.

My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia

Estella is a very positive, always happy teacher. Even though my son has been having on-line lessons with her, we can always feel her positive attitude during the lessons. She is very patient, gives lots of important tips and feedback, which has been helping him to guide his learning, improving in every aspect of it. We can see how much she care about the whole learning experience. It’s been very useful to expend his time while at home doing the lessons. He has been practicing more and has been feeling more motivated since he started the lessons with her. We definitely recommend her as a Saxophone teacher!
