Welcome to my trumpet lessons, where a passion for music meets expert guidance. I'm Tal and I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2018. I bring 8 years of teaching experience to aspiring musicians of all ages. In our sessions, we'll embark on a comprehensive journey, honing in on essential aspects such as breathing techniques, instrument flexibility, and the art of improvisation. Hi there! I am Tal. I grew up in South Africa. As a child I was always curious about music and music-making. I started playing trumpet at the age of 13 years old and it has become a life obsession since then. I graduated school and went straight to university to study music. I specialised in jazz performance. After my studies, I relocated to Tel Aviv, Israel where I started my own musical group and released original music. In Israel, I had a studio where I offered trumpet lessons to a wide range of students. I also taught trumpet at a primary school and at a music conservatory where students ranged in the ages of 7-18. I would love to share my passion for trumpet with you and embark on this exciting journey!

During my Bachelor of Music journey, I honed my trumpet skills through private lessons and delved into the art of composition. This holistic education equipped me not only with technical prowess on the trumpet but also with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate layers that compose the world of music.

I extended my musical footprint to the Israeli music industry, seamlessly navigating between teaching and performing. Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

Experiencing the joy of music-making can be one of the most rewarding things in life!

If you want to learn to play the piano, or to improve your piano playing, I can help you develop your technique and musicality. I am a piano coach at the conservatoire in Zwolle, and I am able to apply those skills to teaching amateur musicians as well.

After discussing your goals, I'll see what's the best way to guide you there - and then we'll get to work together! My goal is that you're inspired and enjoy exploring the piano.

I offer individual lessons of half an hour or an hour and I can teach at your house or online.

The lesson will be in English or in French.
The most important things to me is to combined pleasure, hard working and sharing.
I will try to make my student play with each other as often as possible and try to organised some small projects like student concerts with maybe some rhythmical workshop, solo pieces or ensemble pieces.

Currently studying classical trumpet at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I started my musical studies in Guyana and New Caledonia. When I arrived in Paris, I had the chance to benefit from the teaching of Guy Touvron (Schola Cantorum) and Clément Saunier (CRR de Paris) for about 4 years.

I was also able to benefit, through masterclasses, from the advice of great world-famous trumpeters such as Allen Vizzuti (USA), Thomas Hooten (USA), Hakan Hardenberger (Sweden), David Guerrier (France), Miroslav Petkov (Bulgaria ) ...

I suggest you discover and / or deepen the technique of the trumpet; having worked for a long time with a physiotherapist specialized for musicians, we will be able to address points such as posture, breathing techniques, projection, opening of sound .... Essential points for building a game that is both healthy and staff !

Also, my teaching combines music theory and the aspects allowing to better understand and feel the music, that is to understand at the same time in a theoretical and musical way what the score releases. These two traits of learning are a basis which to my taste brings a technical solidity and an artistic sensibility closely linked.

I will guide you for the choice of material (trumpet, mouthpiece, mutes etc ...) and on the purchase of sheet music for beginners and / or those who need advice on their instruments.

My name is Mathis and I am from Germany, currently studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I play bass/tenor trombone and tuba on a professional level (I am regularly subbing in e.g. the Metropole Orkest or the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw) as well as piano and trumpet on an advanced level. I am proficient in many styles, such as jazz or classical music. I am fluent in German, English and Dutch and C1 level in French.

My techniques start by assessing your level and giving specialized lessons for each. This will start by either understanding the foundations of music theory on one selected piece and slowly adding components to complete it such as emotions. Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I’m teaching private lessons as well as giving masterclasses at festivals. If you are interested in learning to play the panflute or improve your playing skills, I would love to help you along the way. With my years of experience and my wide ranging love of music from folk music to classical to contemporary I’m willing to broaden your musical horizon and bring you a wide range of technique to help you becoming the musician you want to be!
