In this class, students will learn the fundamentals in music theory, gain piano skills, explore music through its history in time and create their own music. The lessons are in English or Greek. Every lesson consists of: Music Theory. Music composition. Working on the piano technique. If anything of the above does not interest the student, may be excluded. The lesson always adjusts on the student's needs and likes.

I provide piano, voice, composition and music theory lessons for all levels and ages. 11 years of piano teaching and music theory experience. 8 years of composition teaching experience and 5 years of experience in GCSE preparation. Able to teach various genres. I have a holistic approach on piano teaching and an adaptable teaching style based on the ability, needs and aims of my tutees. A typical recommended lesson would be 1h, were I work on technique, theory and performance practice. I am currently the Head of Music at City academy Islington, running the department and ensuring my students have high quality lessons. I have worked as a piano teacher in various institutions. In the past years I have worked as soloist (Piano and Operatic singing) with the National Opera of Greece, National Theatre of Northern Greece, and other organizations.

You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting by your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both this repertoires. I also give Music Theory Lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of flute playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and flutist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch. My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified flutist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a (very) consciously prepared healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones! I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the flute playing which includes: Introduction to Yoga, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too. I can teach in various places near or in the centre of Amsterdam, or, depending on the need, I can move to pretty much wherever in The Netherlands.
