Trusted teacher: - Do you want to start playing music but have little to no knowledge? - Are you struggling with the theoretical aspect of you music lessons? - Would you like to receive personalised help from a passionate young musician? Often considered a tiresome burden, music theory is to music what grammar is to language. It is a tool, a code that allows us to understand how our language works. Whether you're using words or notes, it's the same! This is why it is important to learn music theory pragmatically, keeping in mind that it is here to help us understand different musical languages, not at all to impose strict rules. In fact, it would be unthinkable to learn the grammar of a language without ever seeing its relevance in everyday practice! About me: As a 25 year old pianist / drummer / composer / sound engineer / electronic producer / DJ, I offer my help to learn music theory and solfeggio, both in harmony and rhythm. Currently a 3rd year student in Sound at INSAS, I studied musicology at ULB, and I practice music on a daily basis, whether as a pianist (improvisation, composition, learning jazz and classical pieces) or as a sound engineer and beatmaker. Some information about my musical background: - currently in my last year of piano studies (academy of Etterbeek) - member of the jazz ensemble of the Forest academy (2nd year) - regular concerts and composition in MAO (computer assisted music) for 7 years (mainly hip-hop) - 7 years of private drum lessons + Brazilian percussion lessons (batucada) - completed musical training (Etterbeek Academy, 4 years) - 3 years of music writing and analysis courses in academy - solo DJ as well as for a hip-hop group - recording and mixing as a sound engineer as part of my studies and outside: music, cinema, sound creation, etc The course: Depending on your wishes and / or needs, we can orient the course towards different facets of music theory. Whether it's harmony, rhythm, analysis or sight-reading; whether your objective is knowledge, composition, improvisation or the practice of an instrument, I can adapt to you! The first lesson is usually dedicated to assessing the student's level of knowledge and skills, and to establish together a draft programme for the following lessons. The idea is to progress at your own pace, in a good mood! This course is mainly intended for people starting out in music. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns, I'llbe happy to answer you!

Trusted teacher: Saxophonist(graduate from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, currently PhD student with International awards and experience. Languages: Polish, English or French I offer lessons for all level and ages. I propose ear training lessons as well as piano courses. My BIO : I completed my education at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Warsaw, under the supervision of dr hab. Paweł Gusnar and then in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, in the professor Alain Crepin’s and Simon Diricq’s class which he received a diploma with honor. My stay in Brussels allowed me to get to know rich saxophone literature of French and Belgian composers which is my specialization. I have 5 years of teaching experience at the community, high school, and college levels(Karol Lipinski Music Academy in Wroclaw, Poland). Experience includes saxophone classes, saxophone and wind ensembles and ear training. I have won awards and distinctions in prestigious and international competitions: Golden Saxophone International Competition for Young Performers in Odessa where I took second place in 2015, as well as the International Saxophone Competition „Pushkinsax” in Moscow where I also took the second award. As a chamber musician, I have been awarded in the 8e Concours pour Jeunes Saxophonistes de Dinant as well as during the New York Wind Band Festival at Carnegie Hall. I have had the honour to improve his skills while working with artists such as Claude Delangle, Vincent David, Daniel Gauthier, Christian Wirth, Claus Olesen, Dragan Sremec or Andrzej Rzymkowski. Each of them has given me a piece of own musical sensitivity and unique technique, simultaneously encouraging me to further improvement of my method. I have performed as a soloits, a member of groups or orchestras in Europe and the United Stated, giving concerts with the most outstanding musicians and thus gaining a lot of experience. I have been participating in the most important saxophone events and developing my knowledge in classical and contemporary music.

Of course I'm more than willing to leave a review here although I think it is much too early after two hours. I'm a very choosy person, Artur convinced me from the first second, he has this irresistible mixture of intelligence, seriousness, humor and passion for his instrument; at the same time he is very down-to-earth. What I like besides other things most about him is his concentration, he is really with his student, thinks of individual solutions - great! After I had the lessons with him I cancelled my subscription of an online learning program - the lessons online felt much better.

Oscar is an incredibly talented musician who, in addition to his musical prowess, has shown a real talent for teaching. When I approached Oscar to deepen my understanding of music theory, I was pleasantly surprised by his well thought-through approach and I decided that I wanted to make it a regular thing. He organises lessons in a logical flow, uses appropriate practical materials to 'make sense of everything' and always has some food for thought for in-between lessons time. Very happy with my classes. Thanks Oscar!
