Physics & Maths Lessons! - 6 Years Experience - Belgian/EU Baccalaureate, IB, BSB, CCVX, US, University Applications & Learning DisabilitiesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Passionate & empathetic teacher. I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured at the time as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have 6 years of experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds both in a homework schools as well as via private teaching. In private teaching, I have experience tutoring people with learning disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, Discalculia and more), younger kids of ages 7-12 and older students preparing for their final baccalaureate exams in advanced maths/physics curriculums. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life. Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! My lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

Aerospace Engineering BSc TU Delft - Selection Exam PreparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Aerospace Engineering BSc TU Delft - Selection Exam PreparationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bachelor is one of the most prestigious bachelor programmes the Netherlands has to offer. As it is highly sought-after by students all around the globe, there is a highly competitive selection procedure which needs to be completed to get admitted to this popular degree. A major part of this admission procedure is the selection exam, consisting of three different tests: Mathematics, Physics and First-Year Material. As a cum laude graduate Aerospace Engineer at TU Delft, who has also been tutoring since 2017, I have a lot of experience and knowledge of the program to help you out with the right preparation to get in. Over the last four years, I have helped tens of students secure a spot! Moreover, I offer a free personalised lesson plan for each student, which is fully based on the admission syllabus and past exams, to ensure an even higher chance of admission for each student. With my calm and stepwise explanation, weaker topics will be addressed, and your solution procedures will become more effective and accurate. Each lesson will either be theory, exercise-based or an opportunity to talk about the admission, student life, the city of Delft, what to expect from the study and whether it is the right fit for you.

Comprehensive guide to mastering Calculus 1: From foundational principles to solving geometric problems and preparing for university examsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Comprehensive guide to mastering Calculus 1: From foundational principles to solving geometric problems and preparing for university examsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Lesson: This course is a cornerstone for any student aspiring to excel in scientific and technological fields. The lesson focuses on transitioning from traditional mathematics to the world of "instantaneous change" through the study of limits, derivatives, and their vital applications. In this course you will learn: • A deep understanding of Limits and Continuity. • Mastering the rules of differentiation for various functions (trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions). • Applying differentiation to solve real-world problems such as finding maximum, minimum, and time-related rates. • A preliminary introduction to the concept of integration and spaces. This content is designed to be a practical and comprehensive guide to help you excel academically and pass exams with high efficiency. ): Calculus I serves as the bridge between school mathematics and advanced university science. This course is specifically designed to enable students to understand the "language of movement and change" that governs our world, and it is a fundamental and essential requirement for engineering, artificial intelligence, and science students at top universities nationwide. What will the student learn on this academic journey? • The philosophy of limits and continuity: We will break the barrier of fear of limits, to learn how to predict the behavior of functions at critical points and how to determine the continuity of curves, which is a vital basis for understanding the stability of geometric systems. • The Art of Derivative: The student will practice extracting the instantaneous rate of change using advanced differentiation rules (Product, Quotient, and Chain Rules), with a strong focus on trigonometric and logarithmic functions that appear frequently in EmSAT exams. • Real-world applications (Optimization): We will not be satisfied with paper-based solutions, but will learn how to use differentiation to find optimal solutions (maximum and minimum values), such as determining the shortest path or achieving the highest technical efficiency at the lowest possible cost. • Introduction to Integration: We will lay the foundation for the science of integration by understanding the inverse relationship between differential and integral calculus, which will fully prepare the student for the Calculus 2 course. Why choose this lesson? We don't just solve equations; we aim to build an "analytical mindset." This approach simplifies complex concepts, connects them to practical realities, and equips students with smart strategies for tackling the most frequently asked exam questions in UAE university curricula, ensuring not just success, but excellence and an A grade. Additional information for the student (more detailed): • Prerequisites: The student should preferably have a good understanding of the basics of algebra and the ability to solve equations and inequalities. • Required tools: A scientific calculator (preferably advanced models such as those allowed in EMAST), and a graph book to track the behavior of the curves. • Session approach: We follow a strict and organized system of explanation based on progression from easy to difficult, while providing training examples that simulate actual final exams.

“ Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor. ”

“ After only a few lessons with Jeremy, I can say that he helped me progress more than I was able to achieve in 2 years trying to learn the bass through Youtube videos… He helped with the theoretical aspects as well as with my playing technique. He is very methodical and adapts to your needs and requests, and he also provided me with homework and very helpful tips and practice exercices. Highly recommended! ”

“ Roland is a very good tutor. Lessons planned well and organized effectively, tailored to your needs. Responds to emails quickly and in a helpful manner. Good at explaining phenomena and showing you the most effective solution strategies. Overall I am very pleased with Roland as a tutor, and can recommend him to anyone preparing for the TU Delft Aerospace Engineering Bsc selection exam. ”
