I have extensive knowledge of the technique and theory of the instrument. For very beginners, I like to teach them the basics and rhythms by training the ear, trying not to overload them with theory. Technique and theory are important, but practice and music are essential. I like to teach the student to play on pieces, so that he can quickly become comfortable accompanying other musicians if he so desires. Music is a language, which we first learn with the ear. I started playing drums at the age of 12, through private lessons. I was lucky to have a teacher who made me want to play and practice my instrument. From my 15 to 18 years old, I worked on the drums in a self-taught way. I then studied drums at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where I had the chance to meet exceptional drummers and musicians. From the age of 18, I had different groups and projects, which allowed me to make a living from music quite early. Today, I play in several projects, including Typh Barrow, Halehan, Sonnfjord, Noa Moon, and several jazz projects. I am quite flexible on the days and times, I can teach at home or at home.

At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements. -> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student. -> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor. The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive.
