I am passionate about teaching guitar! Over the last 10 years I have been teaching students from ages 7-70 from complete beginners to advanced players with one thing in common - their wish to play guitar more comfortably and have fun while doing it! I am a classical guitarist with a background in pedagogy, psychology and physiotherapy, my approach - methodical. While working on the things you want to improve and learn I will also help you develop a deep understanding of the theory and principles that music is built upon. Our lessons will be exploratory and imaginative whilst also underpinned by technical knowledge so that you can enjoy playing comfortably and without pain. My aim is to get you to where you want to be playing guitar, whether that be for friends at New Year or on the stage at Carnegie Hall!

This way you are fully involved in the musical education of your son or daughter! But of course you can also start with us as an adult student. Violin lessons are suitable for all ages, from 4 to 99 years old! LEARN WHILE PLAYING :) The violin lessons are tailored to each student. For young children we will work playfully full of fantasy and creativity! HOW DO WE GET STARTED? We work according to the mother tongue method of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, where we believe that anyone can learn the language of music, just as you learn to speak. Together we create a musical environment in which music is present every day! In front of? That is not required! You don't need to be able to read notes. We start playing by ear. PRACTICAL: - Every week you get an individual lesson of at least 30 minutes. Fancy more? Then that is of course also possible :) - Additional optional group lessons will start from January. We make music together and learn from each other! - You don't have a violin yet? I will immediately help you to rent or purchase a suitable instrument. - You can join at any time of the school year.

I teach cello to students of all ages and levels: from complete beginners to those preparing for conservatory auditions. My goal is to build your technique and musicality together, step by step, so that you're always challenged but never overwhelmed. A typical lesson works on a mix of technique (posture, bow control, tone production), repertoire suited to your level and taste, and — if you want it — music theory and sight-reading. I'll set clear short-term goals with you each lesson and check in regularly on your progress, so you always know what you're working toward and why. I have experience teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD, and I adjust my pacing and explanations so lessons stay clear and comfortable rather than stressful. If you're an absolute beginner, don't worry — I've taught people who've never held a cello before, and we start exactly where you are. A bit about my background: I hold a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I studied under Ella van Poucke, and I graduated cum laude from the Conservatory and University of Thessaloniki. With my quartet, I won First Prize and the Young Jury Prize at the Storioni Festival Competition 2026, and I've performed at venues including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. Lessons can be in English, Dutch, German, or Greek, in Amsterdam or online. Get in touch and tell me a bit about your goals — I'll tailor our first lesson around them. If you’re interested, feel free to contact me with any questions.
