Are you willing to learn drawing or painting? Do you wish to improve what you already know? I graduated from an art school where I learned all the important classical techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture. I would like to pass on the knowledge I have acquired through my studies and practice and give those who so wish the opportunity to go on a journey into the world of art and improve their language and technique. The lessons are open to all levels. The techniques covered range from drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalk to all painting styles (watercolor, oil, acrylic, tempera). You have the opportunity to experiment on different types of paper (with different weights and colors) and canvases. The topics change from lesson to lesson and can range from the human body to the landscape to the wildlife, depending on your preferences and desires. Particular attention is paid to the method so that the finished work is clean, pleasant and as expressive as possible.

conversation + Conversation + is a new conversation based format that combines grammar, syntax, understanding vocabulary and expressions as well as the practice of correct pronunciation and intonation with the reading of a text of your choosing. On the basis of a selected text the conversation evolves around the topics at hand; parallel to this, we discuss anything language-related that comes up. Any question, any problem can be addressed. In this way, linguistic issues can be explored in greater depth, based on your specific field(s) of interest. This fosters a stronger engagement, promotes enthusiasm, and openness that oftentimes fall short in a classic language course situation. Fields of interest include literature - we read a book, poem, short-story, etc philosophy - we read german philosophy in the original, or secondary work on the subject art - texts concerning art, theater, music etc. science - scientific articles, specialized literature about science politics - newspaper articles, essays, etc. contemporary culture - articles, esssays, etc.

Come and discover wool as a material for creative expression ! In this course you will learn how to use wool to create your own felt fabric. Using the wet and needle felting processes you will be able to create a variety of 2D to 3D artworks and crafts. Achieve illustrative/abstract images, as well as sculptures, objects, and accessories. Each course is guided by an idea focused on a specific material finish and it's method. * The program to get a complete introduction of felting consist in 4 lessons of 1 h 30 min each. (Longer project tutoring is available on request.) * Material is included in the general price. * Price for individuals and groups varies. Drawing is a natural skill for everyone; but if you are looking for a more artistic approach for this practice, you can count on me! During my classes you will learn techniques to upgrade your level of drawing to have a more naturalistic way of representation. I will teach you how to observe shapes and tones, to loose your hand, to improve the quality of your strokes, and I will focus in anatomical drawing by teaching you the easiest way to get the right proportions and being able to draw a person with or without a model. But you can also bring your own interests! We will use pencil, pen, and charcoal. I currently study a Master in New Media Design in Berlin, and I studied my bachelor in the most important school of arts in Mexico. I’ve been drawing professionally for 16 years, and have experience in art teaching for children and adults in several workshops, as well as working independently for painting and mural painting commissions.

Hi I'm Delfina, I'm a stained glass artist and would love to teach you how to create anything you can imagine with glass. I personally dedicate myself to working with glass and pressed flowers and leaves for beautiful frames and jewelry but we can also build terrariums, glass boxes or anything that sparks your imagination I have all the supplies at home so all you would need is an active mind and some creativity, if you then find that you enjoy creating with glass I can help you find the right tools so that you can make stained glass at home.

Illustration, traditional drawing and digital art course. This course focuses on the search for a personal language or the student's style, in which different techniques and styles, both traditional and digital, will be worked on to help the student find a language with which they feel comfortable and make it their own. All this through traditional techniques as well as digital ones, such as Photoshop, Zbrush, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, etc. Specifically, we have extensive experience in using Photoshop. In addition, advice can be provided on specific projects to be developed, graphic narration, conception of ideas and concepts about a project, development of characters, unification of style of a long project. The idea of this course is the search and focus of the student's personal language through references and the exploration of different techniques until reaching their own unique language.

I offer drawing, painting, and 3-dimensional sculpture courses and opportunities for students to explore the different mediums and create an impressive portfolio. I will prepare students to develop their interest in three-dimensional work. Students will be creating work with Cray and 3-dimensional materials. The course will begin withdrawing lessons, model building, and work in clay. Later students will experience mixed media sculptures with other materials. I’m a DJ and music production instructor with 15 years of experience, founder and instructor at DJ School Berlin. I also run my own label and organize events. My classes take place in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere, and are fully focused on your needs and goals. I teach both fundamental concepts and creative techniques, while supporting you in the development of your artistic project I also compose music for media (trailers, films, ads, games, etc) and perform live focusing on sound exploration and experimental performance. To do this, we stay at the location, we explore it, what do we notice? Who uses it and how? Are there strange objects or situations that irritate me here? How can I capture or portray this place artistically? The medium can be freely chosen; it can be a photograph or series, a painting, a drawing, a map, a film or something else. It can be a sketch for a larger project or a test system. Examples of artworks are shown as input, and there are collegial sessions where the participants discuss their designs and get feedback. I support the participants throughout the entire process. The course is structured in such a way that we alternate between exploring the site and working time in the studio.

Hello! I am an experienced artist and educator from the U.K. Educated at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, I have also studied at the Royal Drawing School. Completing their Drawing Intensive program. I worked for a company in London teaching art workshops and then independently here in Berlin. My skills focus on drawing, painting, and printmaking. I am also skilled in areas of art history and theory (with an emphasis on 20th and 21st century). I am able to help students develop exhibitions and portfolio preparation . Students with an interest in working more conceptually are also welcomed. I always help students to contextualise their work, i provide books as source material. I am also able to set reading for the class, where applicable. We can also work on ongoing projects, such as a children’s book. I am interested in technique but also in the individual idiosyncratic ways each individual makes work. Art should be therapeutic too and I always make sure to design classes at the appropriate level. Art has always been my focus in life and I can’t wait to share my skills and enthusiasm with you. My classes also offer children a good opportunity to communicate and improve in English.

Movement can be funny, so can you or not. You chose or not. Being funny can be learned as being expressive. I have studied Lecoq Technique(Pantomime, Tragedy, Drama, Mask Theater, Clown) and Decroux (Mime Corporel). These are physical theater approaches. I am passionate about moving the body in space and the effect it brings. Finding the humor in the physicality and rhythm delightens my everyday life and I am happy to share the fun. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.) Have questions?
