About Me

Teachers Greta (viola) and Augustinas Rakauskas (accordion) are also known as a duo "Tutto a Dio". The duet is appreciated for their exquisite performances coloured by professional and creative musicality. Tutto a Dio’s biggest international highlights are the 1st prizes in two prestigious worldwide competitions “Trophée Mondial 2017” in France and “Coupe Mondiale 2018” in Lithuania as well as the 1st prize in international competition “Premio Internazionale di Castelfidardo 2017” (Italy) and Grand Prix in „Sion-2014” (Switzerland). The duo has enchanted the audiences in different continents worldwide. In USA their performances spread out from Maine, Massachusetts, Colorado, Florida, New York, New Hampshire, California to Europe - Switzerland, Latvia, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey. Curiosity and constant aspiration for improvement are another prominent features of the members of Tutto a Dio: the both members have obtained two Master diplomas at the Lausanne Music University in Switzerland.

Learning the piano could have a very beneficial effect on anyone with dyslexia or any other learning difficulties if the teacher employs slightly different methods, so the process of learning remains enjoyable but not frustrating. With my experience and qualification in teaching the piano and working for many years as a special needs teacher and assessor, I am ideally placed to create a specific approach for your or your child's needs. Hi! I am Sam I am a well-known piano teacher, academy director, entrepreneur, and classical concert pianist in southern Switzerland. I have taught piano for almost ten years, teaching students of all ages and levels piano in English, German and French. With many successful students, I founded the Academies of Piano of the Swiss Romande in 2020, which quickly became a leading non-profit academy specialised in outstanding piano tuition with locations in Villars, Vevey, Monthey and Aigle. I am a classically trained concert pianist. I was trained at the Frédéric Chopin Institute in Basel for eight years under leading Swiss concert pianists, before being awarded a First-Class Bachelor of Arts from the University of Warwick. I have love performing and teaching all musical styles, but specialise in classical romantic works, and is a specialist in the works of Alexander Scriabin and Frédéric Chopin.
