Hi! I am Sam I am a well-known piano teacher, academy director, entrepreneur, and classical concert pianist in southern Switzerland. I have taught piano for almost ten years, teaching students of all ages and levels piano in English, German and French. With many successful students, I founded the Academies of Piano of the Swiss Romande in 2020, which quickly became a leading non-profit academy specialised in outstanding piano tuition with locations in Villars, Vevey, Monthey and Aigle. The academy also offers the possibility to teach from your home.
I am a classically trained concert pianist. I was trained at the Frédéric Chopin Institute in Basel for eight years under leading Swiss concert pianists, before being awarded a First-Class Bachelor of Arts from the University of Warwick. I have love performing and teaching all musical styles, but specialise in classical romantic works, and is a specialist in the works of Alexander Scriabin and Frédéric Chopin.
I have also strong experience as a classical piano soloist with 40+ solo performances around Europe. He also has experience as a master-class teacher, in chamber music, as an accompanist, in the jury of piano competitions and as a workshop leader and teacher trainer.
