Hi there! My name is Darius , I am from Germany and I am studying my Master's at the Rythmic Music Conservatory in "Music Performance". I've been playing the piano since the age of 5 years and I started teaching when I was 14 years old. I have experience teaching all levels, including young childres (>6) and adults of all age - teaching privately and in music schools ever since. I can offer basic to intermediate teaching in classical related and pop related piano / keyboards. Having a jazz background myself I can offer jazz lessons from basic to expert which might include preparing for auditions. I am very open to the interests of my students, but my only requirement is to take some time for people call "practising" - or just making yourself a nice time with music :) I also offer other music related teaching in music theory, "ear training", production etc. on all levels. I believe that we should do stuff that you're interested in. Maybe you'd like to learn this beautiful classical piano piece? Or you would like to play jazz piano? Or you'd like to accompany yourself on the piano? Anything is possible :) I also believe that lessons should not be work that you need to do or be good at... Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona. She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years. For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen. What can you expect from her teaching? She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine! In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world. As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice. She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision. What does the first lesson include? This class is for students who want to refine their English pronunciation, either for examination preparation or for job interviews. My goal is to give students the confidence to speak English fluently and accurately. I am an experienced teacher and linguist, and I encourage students to develop their speaking skills for academic, social and career advancement. Online classes are structured, with regular homework. Pronunciation classes are recorded, so that students can practise at home, and I give them regular progress reports, so that they can measure their improvement. This is my special area, but I am also an experienced exam coach and academic proofreader (MA and PhD theses).

I was a foreign correspondent for the British and American press in the Middle East for ten years, and taught journalism skills classes out there. Nowadays, I'm completing my legal training for the English Bar and have studied International Human Rights Law for my Master's degree back at Oxford.
