Acerca de mí
Hi, my name is Zac. I am a guitarist, songwriter and producer from Copenhagen with more than 15 years of experience teaching and performing. Over the years I have worked as a sideman for well-known Danish artists such as Burhan G, Julias Moon, Noah, Cisilia and Jørgen Klubien, while also building my solo career with 4 full-length album releases.

I grew up surrounded by instruments – my father Christian is known for building some of the world’s best bass guitars – and I started singing in the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir before forming my first blues/rock trio at the age of 12. Inspired by Prince, Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Jimi Hendrix, I developed a deep love for Funk, R&B, Jazz and Soul, which has shaped both my playing and my teaching.

Highlights from my career include:

Performing with members of Prince’s New Power Generation (John Blackwell Jr. & Morris Hayes) during Prince tributes in Copenhagen.

Sharing the stage with Larry Graham (Sly & The Family Stone, Graham Central Station).
Studio collaborations with Skyler Jett (ex-Commodores) and Wilton Rabb (Larry Graham & Graham Central Station).

Recording projects with international musicians such as MonoNeon and Gorden Campbell.
In my lessons, I combine this experience with a passion for helping students develop their own sound. You will learn not just the techniques – funk rhythm, soulful chords, jazz harmony, improvisation – but also how to play with feel, groove and personality.

Whether you are a complete beginner or already advanced, I will guide you in a way that is practical, inspiring and always centered around the music you love.

GuitarMap is a book I've penned, with plenty of shortcuts to understand harmony and how it works in guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, etc. Lessons are based on the book, which makes it easy to keep track of progress.
