Pianist for over 12 years, I help beginner and intermediate students to progress on the piano and enjoy playing their favorite pieces. . Music styles: - Pop/contemporary music (Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Yiruma, Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi, etc.) - Classical music (Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, etc.) - Film music (La La Land, Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.) - French pop music (Francis Cabrel, Jean-Jacque Goldman, etc.) . My teaching method: - Beginner level: my work is based on the book "J'apprends le piano tout simplement" by Christophe Astié, a simple and progressive method for learning the basics of piano (reading sheet music, music theory, playing with two hands, chords, etc.). Once some basic skills have been acquired, we can begin to learn the pieces you wish for. - Intermediate level: Instruction is personalized based on the pieces you wish to learn. I will guide you through reading sheet music, interpreting the piece, and improving your technique, while providing you with tailored theoretical knowledge. The goal is to enable you to play your favorite pieces with fluidity and confidence. . Location: At home (Antony and surrounding areas - Nanterre and surrounding areas) . Limited availability: I still have a few slots available for Saturday afternoons and Sundays. To book lessons, please contact me by message on this platform. See you soon at the piano! Daniel ------------------ - My students' opinions - (translated in English) "My daughter Louane (10 years old) has been taking piano lessons with Daniel for 8 months now, and the progress she's made is incredible. She really enjoys playing, and it shows in her motivation and consistency. What we particularly appreciate is Daniel's gentleness and kindness, as well as his teaching style, which is very child-friendly. Louane can choose the pieces she likes, which makes her even more involved, and music theory is naturally integrated into the learning process. It's an approach that's both fun and effective. Thank you for your patience and your infectious passion!" - Nathalie C. "Excellent teacher, excellent teaching style! My son has progressed much more this year than in previous years. Daniel is patient and adapts to his student's needs. I recommend him 100%." - François M. "After playing the piano for 4 years and then stopping for 21, I decided to take piano lessons with Daniel since August 2024. I quickly noticed progress and I recommend him for his professionalism, kindness, and friendliness. I also appreciate being able to choose the pieces I want to learn." - Marjolaine.

I am an experienced violin and piano teacher from the UK, offering violin, piano and music theory lessons in English to all ages and abilities. I'm a very patient, reliable and friendly teacher with over 10 years experience teaching violin, piano and music theory to children and adults of all ages and abilities, from age 3+, including children with physical and learning disabilities. I aim to make my lessons as fun and enjoyable as possible, whilst ensuring I give my pupils a good technical and musical foundation from the very first lesson. I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons. Having taught privately and in schools in London, I have taken a great variety of students from the youngest children experiencing their first music lesson, to adults restarting their music lessons and I have entered many students through the ABRSM exam grades system, with a 100% pass rate. I trained in classical violin in London at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (Postgraduate Artist Diploma, Masters of Music), a Bachelors degree in academic music at Kings College London (BMus) as well as training at The Royal Academy of Music. I firmly believe learning music should be a positive and rewarding process, whatever the age and level of the student!

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment. Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics: - Fundamental techniques of playing piano - How to read and play chords - How to play an improvised solo - How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!) - Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself - How to learn music or play music by ear - Exploring piano-looking-like instruments such as electric keyboards and subtractive synthesizers Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)

Hello! I am a professional music educator with 16 years of experience dedicated to making music an indispensable part of life rather than just a lesson. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 1,000 students individually, guiding hundreds of them to successfully enter Conservatories and Fine Arts High Schools. 🏆 My philosophy is simple: Music is loved first, then learned. I prioritize building a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Whether you want to master the Piano, Violin, Guitar, or Oud, I offer a holistic approach that combines technical skill, ear training, and rhythm development. I don’t believe in rote memorization. My teaching system is based on logic and understanding the "mathematics" of music. By simplifying complex music theory and "Makam" knowledge into practical and engaging methods, I ensure my students reach a stage-ready level in as little as one year. 🎼 In my online studio, I provide a high-quality learning experience using multi-camera angles and professional sound setups that rival face-to-face lessons. Whether you are a preschooler, a young aspiring artist, or an adult beginner, I create personalized, goal-oriented roadmaps to help you reach your musical dreams. 🌍
