Violin lessons online for Beginners/

I am currently an intern at the Rheinische Philharmonie State Orchestra. I also perform as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Most recently with the Vratz Symphony Orchestra. I lectured at a music school in Düsseldorf and Velbert and also teach in Essen. I have been awarded first prizes at international competitions several times and regularly perform in classical and jazz/pop formations. Beginners, advanced violinists and aspiring violin students are in good hands with me. All aspects of violin playing such as technique, intonation, register playing, vibrato etc. including compositions from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries are integrated as well as modern styles from the 20th or 21st centuries. Playing the violin should be fun for my students, so in addition to the technique of playing, musical expression is also taught with this versatile instrument. I approach my younger students with creativity and empathy. Ambitious students learn the classical and romantic violin literature required for their studies. If desired, the students can take part in competitions such as “Jugend musiziert”, auditions or Prepared entrance exams at German music universities. I look forward to your inquiry! As a violin instructor, I believe that every student is unique and has different learning needs. Therefore, I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, interests, and goals. I use imagination and creativity to overcome technical difficulties and make the learning process fun and engaging. I place great emphasis on meaningful motivation of the teacher, providing many opportunities for performances, preparing students for competitions, concerts, and even a possible music degree. I prefer one or two 30-minute lessons per week for younger students and one-hour long lesson per week for older students. I value a holistic approach that includes violin technique, musical interpretation, listening skills, education, imagination, self-expression, sound development, good body awareness; strengthen confidence, physical freedom, sensitivity and breathing.
I use violin technique books from C. Flesch and O. Ševčík in my teaching, and I place great emphasis on learning violin techniques through virtuosic and musically challenging pieces by composers such as Bach, Ysaÿe, and Paganini.
I like to start with open string strokes and help my students to feel comfortable with the holding. It’s very important to me, that the student enjoys to make the best possible sound. After that, I start to introduce the left hand. I always play examples for my students, so that they can have a sound impression and can imitate me. The sound producing is a fundamental topic in my lessons and I add value to different bow strokes, bow division, arm and Hand positions in a proper angle and always in an ergonomical manner. I like to teach vibrato, with the knowledge, that it should support the line or phrase, so that at the end of the phrase, the vibrato relaxes.
Once a student is more advanced and has learned to read sheet music, rudiments of notation such as values, timing, recognizing notes on the treble clef and play in the third position, I go through violin concertos by composers such as Vivaldi and Accolay with them. Additionally, I like to integrate pieces that are fun to play and listen to, such as Hungarian folk dances by B. Bartok. After that, we move on to more challenging works by composers such as Bruch and Lalo. The higher the student’s ambition, the more pieces we will work on. Ideally, we would work on one baroque piece (e.g., from the Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin by Bach), one violin concerto or virtuosic piece and one sonata. My goal is to help students develop their full potential as musicians and human beings, and to inspire them to become lifelong learners and lovers of music.

I am a passionate violinist and chamber musician, allow me to transport you into my musical universe.
My journey commenced in Germany, where I received my musical education under the guidance of Susanna Yoko Henkel at the University of Music and Dance Cologne. However, my thirst for knowledge and artistic diversity led me abroad—to the esteemed Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. There, I studied under Dainius Puodžiukas, the concertmaster of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. This transformative period left an indelible mark on my musical soul and expanded my horizons.
Mario Hossen, an exceptional Paganini interpreter and the artistic director of the Varna Festival, accompanied me on my journey to violin mastery. At the National Academy of Music in Sofia (NBU), I completed my Master’s degree in Violin with distinction, graduating summa cum laude. The challenges he presented shaped my technique and expression.
But music is more than just notes on paper. It embodies emotion, passion, and discovery. That’s why I actively engage with the MUTE Project by the Beethoven Academy Bonn, pushing the boundaries of sound and instrumentation. And then there’s Nikolaus A. Huber, an avant-garde composer whose work, including the intriguing piece titled “with ego amplitudes,” fascinated me. I sought dialogue with him, aiming to understand his vision and infuse it into my interpretations.
Another highlight was my collaboration with the extraordinary percussionist Denis Yakovlev. Together, we performed the evocative piece “Fratres”, an experience that broadened my artistic palette.
But I hungered for more. In 2019, I co-founded Duo Kalliope, dedicated to contemporary music. Here, I explore creative boundaries and venture across genres. My inspiration came from luminaries like Robert Kulek and Evgeny Sinaiski.

One of the cornerstones of our duo’s repertoire is the Violin Sonata No. 1 by the Turkish composer and avant-gardist Fazil Say. This remarkable piece has become a fixture in our performances, especially after its acclaimed inclusion in the “Dissonanzen” concert series in Cologne. Notably, it received positive recognition channel.
Interdisciplinary Projects:
Since 2023, I’ve been actively engaged in interdisciplinary projects that blend music and theater. Exploring new artistic avenues keeps my creativity alive and allows me to collaborate across disciplines.
Television and International Collaborations:
I’ve had the privilege of participating in ARD television productions, including “Helene die wahre Braut.”
Additionally, I accompanied renowned international artists like Daniel Hope during the WDR3 streaming concert in 2017.
