Violin lessons for students of all levels and musical genres Do you want to start playing the violin or improve? My name is Paula and I am a violinist, violin teacher and orchestra musician. I have a "Master of Music" in violin at the Saar University of Music with Prof. Joshua Epstein and I am currently studying in the master's program in chamber music with Krzysztof Chorlezski, violist of the Belcea Quartet, and Mario Blaumer, cello director of the Saarland Radio Orchestra. I'm also doing an internship in the Philharmonic State Orchestra Mainz, but I spend most of my time in Saarbrücken. I also completed a two-year course in osteopathy, studied two years of a bachelor's degree in education and a course in neuroanatomy. When teaching violin, I am particularly interested in how the brain works and its relationship to the body and concentration, as well as working with emotions, which can be applied to both music and life. I teach violin privately and at two schools in Germany. I have played in orchestras in Germany and Spain, for example the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie or the orchestra of the Comunitat Valenciana (Opera in Valencia), and in concert halls such as the Elbphilarmonie or the Berlin Philharmonie. I am also a member of various chamber music ensembles, especially string quartets. I live in the center of Saarbrücken and mostly teach at home, but I can also come to you. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice.
