Music has always been my passion and also my job and my way of life. That is why I think teaching what I know and helping people to understand better this world is an incredible way to use this knowledge.

Bildung

Finished Bachelor in classical music with violin as main instrument in Spain 2020, in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla y León, with Karolina Michalska as a teacher.
Currently I am studying in the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, with Guido de Neve as a teacher.
Also recieved violin lessons from Santiago de la Riva, Ana Comesaña or Shirly Laub, among others.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

Although I have studied classical music I have also been involved in modern music as Jazz, being part of the class of Jazz in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castilla y León from 2016 to 2018.
Currently I am studying folk music and fiddle with María San Miguel (from Atlantic Folk Trio).

In this Spanish lessons we can do whatever it fits better to your needs. Either if you just want some conversation with a native person that can correct your mistakes and help you to get into this language, or if you want to study some grammar, we will adapt our sessions in order to whatever your needs are.

Maybe you are a violin student that needs some extra help with your courses. Maybe, you haven't ever tried playing the violin and you think now is the perfect time. Maybe your daughter or son has some kind of gift for music and you want them to explore and begin their way as musicians. Maybe you play another instrument but want some advice and exercises for improving yourself at theory courses as harmony, rhythm, intonation or music history.
In any of this cases, I can help you! In my lessons you will be free to choose any of this subjects, or even mix them, in order to get you to be a musician.

Hello everyone! My name is Blanca and I am a Master's student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen.
I offer private music and piano lessons, at your place or even online. I have been teaching children and adults since I was 17, and I have been working in a lot of private schools, as well as my own private students.
I can adapt the content to every level, and for me, it's quite important the communicate during the lessons and the goals we want to achieve.
I can teach in Spanish (my mother tongue), English, or even German.

Trough the course of my education period and in my professional life I have stumbled upon a lot of issues and difficulties I needed to figure out how to solve. Studying with multiple professors and going to private lessons gave me (and still is) different pieces of the puzzle and together with my own observations, I started to understand it is really about knowing how things operate and giving it some love and practice. This class focuses especially on YOUNG children (3-12), aimed for those who are curious about learning music.
This includes
- fun musical games (clapping, singing, using colours, memory games)
- exploring instruments (piano, recorder, voice, body percussion)
- focusing in the music that inspires and motivates the child
- introduction and exploration of musical genres
- *(optional) help with music theory (homework) and the understanding of it
