I do this through a variety of activities to help you build your skills step by step; including role-playing games (based on real-life situations), Q&A's and games. ¡The goal is to keep you talking! The lessons are mainly given in Spanish, so you can learn and practice as much Spanish as possible during the lesson. Don't worry about making mistakes; By making mistakes and learning from them, you even become better. Repetition is an important part of my lessons. I often go back to check if you remember what was introduced in previous lessons. Before we start our lessons, I want to know your reasons for learning Spanish. If you already have some knowledge of Spanish, I will determine your exact level. Once I know your needs, interests, and level, I can select the right materials and design the right course for you. I find it better to work with a textbook to give structure to the lessons. I also use videos, slides, worksheets, and other teaching materials. If you like, I can also email you exercises and resources so you can continue learning independently. I was thinking, that learning Chinese is extremely difficult, however, thanks to Shan,  this language becomes more and more clear for me. Every lesson is very productive and I feel, that I progress fast! Today, there are numerous teachers, who can teach you Chinese. However, only a few of them can make the educational process so interesting and enjoyable. Luckily for me, Shan is one of them and I am very happy, that I found her. Shan is very precise and corrects every my mistake. She can easily explain how to properly pronounce words with different tones, how to write syllables, the grammar and many more. I like, that with her, I am not just memorising Chinese language, but I do really understand it. Overall, without a doubt, I can say, that Shan is a great teacher! 心💕

Yu feels like a very experienced girl, she gives you the right kind of attention. Her command and enthusiasm of the Chinese language is out of this world. Not only will she teach you Mandarin very professionally, but she will also explain and give historic reasons for some notions. To put a word or phrase into context is in my opinion a very effective and pleasurable way of learning a new language. Within an hour we made so much progress; something I honestly did not expect. I'm very happy I found her and I'm already hyped for the many lessons to come.
