I've been playing and studying piano since age 6 (over 25 years ago). I began with classical music, and later added Ragtime, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, and Chord theory. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance, Classical Music (4 years). I have participated in numerous Piano Masterclasses in Europe, and I studied with great pianists. I still learn from different Highly Accomplished Musicians. I believe learning never stops. I have much to share with my students. TEACHING STYLE I am a very patient teacher. I love teaching all ages. I don't teach everyone the same way. I tailor lessons according to individual goals and needs. I insist on the importance of technique and musicality. I also guide all my students even outside of the teaching time, by responding to all their questions (music theory or technical) and sending them videos. I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits. My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students for their Piano Exams, like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grades 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old, and my youngest one is 3 years old. They made great progress, and I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. Kevin is a genius, who is capable of breaking down complex concepts into manageable, useful bits. If you think of a really large basket of vegetables and fruits. You know all the nutrients are good for you, but it would be tedious to try to eat it all raw. But then, you get a juicer or blender or 'Nutribullet', and juice all those vegetables and fruits into a refreshing smoothie. You can then drink that smoothie as quickly or slowly as you wish, and still get all the necessary nutrients... That's what Kevin can do - he juices all the complex intricacies of the German language into something you can understand and digest. His methods are unconventional, but very helpful in laying a proper foundation for a successful language learning journey. Very highly recommended.

so lucky to have found this amazing teacher! He explains everything with so much patience and clarity that even the most difficult topics start to feel simple. I noticed a big improvement in my maths level and I love the most how encouraging and supportive he is—he never makes you feel bad for not understanding, instead he finds new ways to explain until it clicks. My daughter has taken onlien French lessons for the past year to support her IB French ab intio course through Pamoja. She enjoys sesssions- always fun, tailored to her needs and the focus is on applying what she learnes. Regis helps her prepare written assignments and improves her communication skills especially pronunciation. Kira's Pamoja instructor has praised her progress and oral skills. All all Kira is very positive about learning Frecnh with Regis. We can recommend him highly!
