Learn to make music straight from the heart! Study music as a spiritual practice.

It is one of the most valued factors in music all over the world, though also one of the least understood. (At least in the western world, if not anywhere.) Often deemed a kind of sub-talent "one just has or one doesn't", I am very certain it is something any musician can learn. I know because I found out how that works.

The technique is easy to understand, but hard to master. Mastering in fact takes a lifetime. As it is in essence the art of improving oneself through the medium of music.

A lifelong student myself, I have always found it hard to study music in any other way. Most things therefore I had to find out by myself while carving my own path, never really staying with any music teacher for long.

No matter how skilled you currently are at making music, you can learn this if you feel the motivation to do so. In fact it can be an advantage not to much already.

One main medium we use for training is improvisation. Which might be scary at first, but can become something very exciting very soon if you open yourself to it. Anyone can learn this!

The methods used can also be applied to non-improvised music. They turn studying music into a spiritual practice and performing music into the sharing of spiritual energy with other people.

I am a professional violinist based in Amsterdam with degrees from the Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I teach Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Power Yoga. Classes are available at all levels in English or Dutch. In addition to private lessons, I have extensive experience teaching in studios.

Yoga has done a lot for me, both physically and mentally. It is about much more than just exercise and would like to share this with others. I did my 200 hour yoga teacher training in Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga in Greece. In addition, I followed a 100-hour yoga teacher training in Yin Yoga in Utrecht.

I like to give my students a better understanding of why you are practicing a certain pose, what the benefits are for your body and mind, and the best way to get into the pose! Each lesson can be adapted to your wishes! You can indicate to what extent you want to focus on meditation & breathing and to what extent you want to focus on the physical aspect of yoga. After each lesson we can make adjustments so that I can ultimately put together the perfect lessons for you!

Learn how to use Logic Pro X, Ableton, Reaper etc. Depending on your level the lessons start from basic music technology principles to advanced music production skills.

Beginners: I can teach you about the types of microphones and how to use them (Audio Recording), introduce you to the basic audio equipment, and teach you how to use a Digital Audio Workstation (Audio mixing & Audio editing).

Alexander Technique addresses posture, balance, movement, and breathing issues in a holistic manner. The teacher's central aim is to gently bring the students' attention to the way she uses her own body in activity and how it affects directly its overall functioning. Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game.
Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:)

I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now!
Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation.
Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works.
This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry.
Music is very powerful!

PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques.

Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler.
During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old.
When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts.

I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free.
Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Music production is one thing that refers to a lot of different things as it's in a sort of middle ground between something purely musical as composition, instrumentation or arraging and the technical aspect, like mixing, mastering or using a daw.
In this classes we can focus on what you want to do or learn regarding those topics, or the ones that I think would help you best, putting an emphasis on how you can apply the information that you gain in your own way or imitating certain aspects of a specific genre, finishing songs, mixing them or just to loose the fear of making music and became more relaxed in a creative sense and have fun with it.

Synthesizers and electronics music production methods have been popular for long time, but many composers have tools which they may underuse due there being so many options and perhaps not knowing which tools are best for your needs.

I have been creating sounds with synthesizers, samplers, drum machines and computers since I was a teenager, and it would be a pleasure to share this passion with you. As a live musician at any level, it's crucial to play well with your band. Playing in a group requires paying attention to how everyone sounds as a whole. This can involve sound, arrangement, interplay, dynamics, timing, performance—an endless number of things! All sorts of small things can make a band sound good or bad. I can help you pinpoint where there's room for improvement or guidance.

Together, we can determine which type of support is right for you. This could include assistance with the topics mentioned above, song selection, or creating a rehearsal plan. It could be a one-time session to get things started or help you move forward, or it could be a fixed period.

I graduated from the conservatory in 2022 and have been working full-time as a bassist and producer (and coach) ever since. I also have experience leading bands, which requires a certain level of oversight, which I find useful when coaching other bands.
