Teaching Chemistry to secondary up to university's level
From 95.03 $ /h
Chemistry is essential in our life and is a core subject for students on the science track. Teaching Chemistry is a profession, which needs deep knowledge and experience to build up students' careers in this field. My philosophy is as follows:
The ideal for the students with an expressed desire to learn more about a subject that they are truly interested in. They will be taught by experts in their field and go on to either further that knowledge or take the knowledge they have acquired and put it into practice in their chosen careers.
My role is to help students to identify and develop the skills required to succeed academically, work independently, and build their critical analysis skills, in order to demonstrate their intellectual abilities to the full.
Teaching is a process in which knowledge is passed on to students and it is definitely to explore their potential and develop their skills.

I have experience in Research and teaching Analytical Chemistry for 14years after obtaining my Ph.D. This includes supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching practical classes was also formed part of my experience.
The other core part of my career experience in the research field in Analytical Chemistry is the use of analytical techniques in biological samples and pharmaceutical studies. These techniques are chromatography and spectroscopy such as ICP-MS, HPLC, GC, HPLC-MS, GF-AAS, LC-MS/MS, Flame photometry (FP), AAS, UV, and IR spectrophotometers. The application of these techniques included analysis of trace elements and metabolites in human biological samples (urine, hair, nail, and blood), food, water, and other environmental samples.
Students will learn the theory, principle, and application of the abovementioned instruments. Beginners will learn more basic knowledge about chemistry, in general, to use it in future careers.
