I have taught students across the UK,US, and Europe that have gone on to extraordinary careers in music and theatre. I specialise in teaching rap skills and lyric writing.
If you enjoy rap music and would like to learn how to improve your technique then I am here to help you!
I have many years of experience teaching, performing and recording my own music. I sing, rap, write lyrics and have performed with a band in the past.

Hi, I’m Sarah!
I am both an Opera Singer and a classroom Music Teacher. My love for teaching and singing have always lived side by side. I constantly seek any opportunity to share my passion, whether that be in front of an audience or a classroom of students. I have always loved expressing myself through music, regardless of the genre. In fact, in a past life, I really wanted to be a country singer.

My philosophy as a teacher is to have student specific teaching styles that are all about helping YOU achieve the goals that you want to achieve! Whether it be your high school/university recital, auditions, or preparing for a gig, our lessons will be tailor-made to you. My job is to give you the confidence to enjoy your voice.
I am an Operatic Soprano yet I have sung across many genres for many years. Once you have a good technique you will be able to sing in whatever style you choose!

My operatic technique allows me to sing over a full orchestra without a microphone, and without causing vocal damage. In our lessons, I will be able to share with you these tools to healthy singing that enhances your natural tone. You will learn microphone technique, as well as performance techniques that will help you to better convey a character to an audience. I may also help with character development, songwriting, music theory and piano.

I have an incredible wealth of experience teaching classical music. I specify all the way from baroque music to contemporary and can apply to any age. I am currently at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of the Head of Vocals there and have years of experience with the voice. I am training myself to become an opera singer but started out with Musical theatre so have a wide range of experience with that too!

I have just completed my music degree where I specialised in contemporary classical singing and opera. I have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre and have completed one year on a Vocal Studies course at a Music Conservatoire. I have Grade VIII in Violin and Classical Voice, Grade VI in piano and Pop and Jazz Vocals and recently achieved a 1st for my final degree recital and composition. The techniques that you gain from classical training can be applied to all genres and give a strong foundation to be able to perform any music you may be interested in. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I would be thrilled to pass on my knowledge. I studied music at university and have Grade 8 in both piano and vocals, but I have also performed in many different venues across the UK. I have helped previous students with stage-fright and anxiety with performing as well as aiding them learn their favourite songs on piano - and singing along at the same time. I can teach in many different piano styles from popular music to classical and I can also teach music theory.

I have a deep passion for traditional, holistic yogic practises and I understand that large classes can be overwhelming. I have found that Yoga is very individual, and with gentle 1:1 guidance, has lots room for personal growth. I can teach poses, breathing techniques and meditation to help us feel the best we can.

All my lessons will be tailored to each student, we will discuss together the goals of the practise, and provide the balance of learning, but also making it fun and enjoyable and a space to relax.

My singing lessons will aim to develop your vocal skills across a variety of styles, including Soul, RnB, Blues, Jazz, Rock and Pop. Every session begins with compulsory vocal warm-ups, focusing on breath control, vocal exercises, and technique. These foundational practices help strengthen your voice and prepare you for the songs we will work on during the lesson.

In each class, you will choose a song you'd like to learn, and I will suggest a second song to complement your skill development. We will work on a maximum of two songs per session, focusing on technique, expression, and interpretation to help you refine your unique sound. Whether you're a beginner or experienced vocalist, my lessons are tailored to enhance your vocal abilities and confidence in performance.

I am a professional operatic tenor and a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and continue to perform regularly throughout the country and internationally. I now have 20 years of performing and teaching experience, and specialise in teaching vocal technique and refining tone quality.

I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation.

Learning to sing is the same as any other skill, and everyone is capable of singing well. Singing is unique to each person and I always adapt my lessons accordingly.
