Trusted teacher: Bonjour! My name is Anastasia, I am a 24 years old French native and I am here to help you improve your French skills. I have been teaching students of various levels from all around the world for over 5 years. I have helped students prepare for French exams like the DELF, as well as those who are planning to move to a French-speaking country and need real-life language skills. I understand the challenges of learning a language, having learned two languages myself: English and Portuguese, and plan to learn more. I have faced difficulties, hit walls, and overcome them, and I believe that my experience as a language learner makes me a well-rounded teacher. However, I do not claim to know everything about teaching, as I am constantly learning. I tailor my teaching method to best suit the needs of my students. I use interactive resources such as images, videos, and texts to help my students learn effectively. For beginners, I recommend trying out the Pimsleur method, which is a 30-minute audio lesson based on gradual interval recall. This method reviews learned vocabulary at increasingly longer intervals and has been used by the CIA. If you are interested, we can discuss how to use this method together. I offer French lessons remotely through Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams or at the students place. When the lesson is online, I use a platform that allows us to see and modify documents, images, and videos in real-time, which is very useful. I would be happy to help you on your French learning journey.

Trusted teacher: Ciao! I'm Tanya :) I was born and raised in Venice. I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience. I translated medical and legal articles, panels in the Venice Glass Museum and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice. In the last years of my life I traveled the world, visited more than 80 countries and worked remotely. I have been working with Dutch people for three years, through my language school: Lingodrops. I graduated in languages, am certified in international law and am a language coach. Language coaching means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new ones! I closely follow your entire learning process, to get the most out of your possibilities! This is because I like learning new languages! That's why, after years of studying, I became a polyglot (8 languages - Italian, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Dutch) and I devised a method myself to teach you the language you want to learn! Over the years, I have learned to shape my work according to the personal needs of each student and have developed a method that allows my students to learn the language in a fast and fun way. My hobby and greatest passion is learning other languages, so from my experience I can understand many of the difficulties associated with learning a foreign language. My lessons are based on a specific method that I have designed to facilitate and accelerate learning. My lessons are available in Italian, English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Dutch and Arabic. GROUP CLASSES possible! Arrivederci!

Pablo - Minato, Japan22€
Trusted teacher: Hola !!! みなさんこにちぐあ Hi everyone! Qué tal? How are you? My name is Pablo, a Spanish teacher from Spain. Also, you can call me David, or Debiddo, as my Japanese family does. Currently living in Tokyo, developing my career and enjoying the amazing gastronomy here. Most of my time, I am helping students to get their goals with this amazing language. -How my classes are? Funny as possible! And 100% Hispanic experience. In a few specific important moments, we could speak English. Just if we really need. I offer classes in 3 different systems, in order to suit your needs and goals. You can choose between: 1- BESPOKE, Lessons are customized to suit you in order to get the most out of them. 2-CONVERSATION, Designed for students already at the elementary level, level A.2, since a foundation is required to be able to communicate. 3-COMBO BC, The conversation and bespoke systems blend it. -How is the first class? We will talk about your goals and objectives. And mainly about you, your likes, hobbies, and skills. Why?? Because every student is different, the same as humans, and the best way to teach is to discover what kind of student you are. You will surprise how much words you know from the first class! Learning Spanish will get you in the second most spoken language in the world. -What do I use? I use varied material to customize the lessons and exercises for you. I have my own material, but also I use professional resources like books or interactive activities. -How I am? Dedicated, empathic and funny. I really like to make the lessons the easiest way possible, the same style as kids learn: with fun. I roundly curious about everything, as I have traveled a lot and I have taught in the cosmopolitan city of London for a while to different nationality students. I love books, healthy style of life, and documentaries. -What kind of skills I have? I am a huge Japanese food lover... I am certificated as ELE professional, a Spanish teacher for foreigners, for International House Barcelona, recognized for Cervantes Institute. Most important I enjoy teaching for a while, not just Spanish. Different subjects as yoga, documentaries or meditation for beginners. I speak also English and two more languages, Galician and Portuguese. Plus currently, I am learning Japanese. -Is Spanish a difficult language? Maybe is easier English? Well, nothing compared with Chinese or Hungarian language... ;) I promise you. The Spanish language has important differences with Asian languages, true. But when you identified which they are, is just a question of practice. A good explanation for this is that especially for Japanese students, Spanish phonetic is much easier than English. And both languages, Spanish and English, share many words, structures and phonetics. You will surprise how much Spanish words you know already and you didn't realize. Despite this, I understand how hard could be in some moments. But DON'T worry, please! Step by step, together, you will get confident and motivation pretty high to make this fantastic language, YOUR language. You will learn not just in class time with me because you will use some of your hobbies and passions to keep and improve your Spanish. I will design these activities for you. -Where do I teach? I use to meet students at their home or some places like a quiet coffee shop. Around my area or yours. We could arrange the best place for you. I love parks on a nice day too! -Do you teach groups? Yes, definitely. I am more than happy to give lessons to small groups. Students groups give me many options and wide opportunities to make fantastic activities and games. And with economic prices. -Are you a little bit curious but you don't want to take a decision yet? I am happy to send you an example of how my classes look like. I appreciate your interest and time and don't hesitate to consult me, please. Gracias, and see you!

Trusted teacher: At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. Openness, joy, dedication, creativity and passion for music are some of the things that you will find in the international environment of my studio. I care about who my students are and what they have to say to the world, and I will help them to develop it from the very first lesson. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Hope you can join and if so, I’ll be very happy to teach you!

Trusted teacher: -Dutch & videos below- Lessons in 6 languages! With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts. I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages. The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home. -Dutch- Lessons in 6 languages! I've had different Spanish teachers but Tanya is by far the best for several reasons: - Tanya makes a personal plan together with me which fits perfectly with my learning goals. So no unnecessary grammar but only things whichs helps me with my reason why I approached her - She developed her own personal learning style which helps me making huge steps in a short time - Tanya shows she's well prepared and the work we do and the homework I get is always in extend of the things I want to learn - Besides that she's always happy and a nice person to chat with Quick sumarry: if you want to learn Spanish in a good/fast way with a teacher who is always happy, I would highly recommend Tanya :)

Reconnecting with Pau as a guitar teacher has been as good as I remembered. He's a a great instructor in all the aspects: he's patient and when something is difficult for me he always finds and alternative that is complementary and it really helps me. He knows a lot about music and different genres but if you want to play something he doesn't master, he'd look into it and make it easy for you to enjoy it. The way he plays is so good he's an inspiration and it makes you want to be better. Always my number 1 option guitar teacher!

Rudi assisted my 15 year old son with Geometry on two occasions now. Strong points are as following: very well organised, good command of the subject, very efficient with time, which is not trivial. Well set up for online lessons. Rudi is not big on small / pep talk which may put off some people but my son finds Rudi very helpful. I would recommend for young / older teens who have at least basic independent study skills.
