Trusted teacher: Born following behavioral observation, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) designates a whole set of techniques (dissociation, reframing, etc.) and methods aimed at promoting the personal development of the individual. Neuro-linguistic programming is concerned with how humans function in a given environment, based on their behavioral patterns. Through a set of techniques and methods, NLP helps to change the way an individual perceives his environment. Indeed, each individual has a map of the world which is specific to him, and which is modulated by his beliefs and his conditioning. The purpose of NLP is to modify this map in order to enable the individual to achieve their goals more effectively. NLP therefore provides the necessary tools to make personal and structural changes, in order to create new potential for success. Neuro-linguistic programming is primarily concerned with "How to make it work well?" Rather than "Why is this not working?" ". It suggests recognizing the behaviors we adopt when communicating, and then making changes if desired. - “Programming” refers to the fact that we are conditioned by our environment which includes a system of beliefs and behaviors. - “Neuro” means that these programs are encoded in our neural circuits. - “Linguistics” refers to language, whether verbal or non-verbal. Examples of benefits of Neurolinguistic Programming: -Improvement of the mother-child relationship -Improved performance and decreased anxiety -Improvement of psychological difficulties and quality of life (..) The objective of this training: to target the tools which will support your communication, your image, will help you to decipher your interlocutor (...) to better achieve your objectives. Thus, after having exchanged with you about the essential blockages that you encounter, targeted areas for improvement, your objectives (...), pragmatic tools, techniques & methods will be put in place based on the initial data. Combined with these theoretical elements, their implementation will follow (for example, by filmed simulations or at the end of the session in real life). Course of a session: in conversational form, the practitioner identifies the problem and determines the objective with the client by asking a set of questions. He directs his questions towards solutions rather than the story that generated the situation. Then according to his practice, the practitioner uses the tools at his disposal in order to remove blockages and promote behavioral change, while deciphering the communication of the other as well as his own, thanks to specific NLP tools. Trusted teacher: Do you or your child want to play the flute? Or to learn how enjoyable can it be? You are most welcome! Learning to play the instrument is an opportunity to enter the world of music and become a musician. More importantly, you learn the joy of creating music by yourself. I invite beginners as well as children or adults who have already had some experiences with playing and want to develope their skills. I invite beginners, children and adults, as well as experienced players, to develop their skills. I also offer lessons for duos or trios – two or three different recorders, flute and piano or guitar, or two flutes. In this case, we focus on the skills needed for ensemble playing and less on individual technique, so this option is not for absolute beginners. The cost per person for ensemble lessons will be lower. How does a lesson with me look like? It depends on your level and what we focus on, but we will certainly do some preparatory exercises. You will present what you have been preparing since last time, and we will work on some details. If there is time, we shall then try something new. We can also play duos together. A lesson last about an hour, or 45 minutes for younger pupils. I can adjust the repertoire to your preferences, to your needs and to your level, but I shall also encourage you to learn some new and unfamiliar styles. I like to use notated music in the process of learning, so that in the future you will feel comfortable about reading music, but we can also sometimes improvise, or play something you remember without notation. Along the way, you will learn some music theory, which is necessary part of becoming a musician. I also offer music theory lessons alone, if you wish.

Trusted teacher: I’m Anahit, and I’m here to support you on your math journey with a professional yet approachable teaching style. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I’ve guided students of very different levels — from a 4th grade student, to an IBDP Year 2 student, and even a master’s student in Data Science. This flexibility has strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods to the needs of each learner, whether the focus is on building strong fundamentals or tackling advanced concepts. Mathematics has been a consistent part of my life — from excelling in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with Math at Higher Level, to now pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science and Financial Technology. Studying and applying advanced mathematics on a daily basis allows me not only to keep my knowledge sharp but also to bring real academic and practical depth into my tutoring. When working with students, I focus on making complex ideas clear and accessible. I strive to create a welcoming environment where trust builds naturally and students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenges, and even enjoying the process of learning math. Many students struggle with math not because they lack ability, but because they haven’t been given the right approach. My role is to provide that approach — helping them grow in both confidence and skill. If you’re looking for a tutor who combines academic expertise with patience, adaptability, and a supportive atmosphere, I’d be glad to work with you.

Trusted teacher: Lessons for all ages. Harp, piano, music theory. I graduated from the KMC Gent and have a career/experience of more than 40 years. I also followed yoga, mindfulness and kinesiology courses. The combination of playing an instrument with mindfulness opens up many possibilities. During the lessons for harp or piano you learn the necessary technique, and musicality is taken into account. The better the technical skill, the more fluidly the musicality can unfold. No previous knowledge of ear training is required for the instrument. Gradually you learn to read the notes. For those who wish, I give AMV (General Musical Education) Here you practice extra on reading, rhythm, general & specific hearing exercises, and theoretical knowledge. Those who are going to higher music studies and experience a gap in music theory can come to me for specific training. I also guide students for solfège who are taking their entrance exam for KMC and also during their student trajectory. Here is more explanation. The lessons are individual and adapted to each student. For toddlers aged 4 to 6 who are learning to play the piano, I follow a method based on a musical fairy tale. It is a method that meets the child's world of experience. They discover the possibilities of the instrument and the way of writing songs. Step by step they learn to play and sing songs on the piano. For harp I can advise to start at 6 years. Fingers at 4 years are still too tender to pluck strings. 6 years is a better age to start harp playing. They play on a small instrument that is appropriate for their age. For children who start from the age of 7, I use a different method book for piano and the child's world of experience is also taken into account. For children who start playing the harp at that age, the method book is also aimed at the child. The method books are therefore tailored to the age and capabilities of the child, teenagers and adults. For students at the college who are going to study music professionally, the subject 'music theory' is included in the curriculum. In case of shortcomings in music theory, the specific needs are updated. Both theory, lecture in G and F clef, performance of rhythm in all time signatures, rhythm dictation, intonation training, intonation dictation, recognition of intervals melodic and harmonic, rhythmic-melodic dictation can be updated to make up for deficiencies. I can guide students in music as a hobby, as well as in music professionally.

Trusted teacher: I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.) Have questions? Don’t hesitate to message me! I can tailor a class to your needs :)

Hugh is a teacher unlike anything I have ever experienced. He positively surprised me several times. The way of teaching is very impressive. From the first moment I felt at ease. I was quite insecure about my English language but Hugh helped me completely. In addition to improving my English language, Hugh has also taught me some great life lessons. What sets Hugh apart is not just his knowledge but his ability to connect with the student. His approachability and genuine concern for my understanding have created an atmosphere where I felt valued and encouraged. In addition, he was a fascinating motivator and a great source of inspiration, the perfect example of what an English teacher should be. It is clear that he has a lot of experience in everything that has to do with teaching. After every lesson I went home with a very good feeling. His teaching style is very excellent! I can highly recommend Hugh! I feel privileged to have had Hugh as my teacher, and I am grateful for the positive influence he had in improving my English language. Thank you Hugh, your dedication for me have not gone unnoticed and are deeply appreciated! Blue Skies!
