About Me
Hello, my name is Danny. I’m a Dutch native living in Ireland in Dublin. I moved there as I wanted to use the English language on a day-to-day basis to improve my spoken English to a more native level.
I was always fascinated by languages and fell in love with the English language at a young age. I also tried to learn German, Japanese, and Chinese. Unfortunately, I had to quit German and Japanese but started this year again to continue studying Chinese by myself.
I have finished my 180-hour TEFL course in October at The TEFL institute of Ireland and received my level 5 TQUK certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.
My hobbies are swimming, reading, traveling, learning new languages, and learning about new cultures.
I can teach English and Dutch to you as the Dutch language is my Native language.
Me as a Teacher
As English is not my native language, I know how hard it can be to learn a new language.
I want to accompany you on your journey of mastering the English language.
I will give you tips and tricks in our conversations to make the road a little bit easier and more fun.
I learned that the best way to learn a new language is by using the language as much as possible through speaking or written conversations.
Yes, it is scary, and you will make mistakes, but I believe it is alright to make mistakes as they are the first step to improvement.
I’m a friendly teacher that will give you the time needed to improve your language and correct you where correction is necessary.
