My primary objective is to make learning music an enjoyable and productive experience to all ages & levels.

Are you self taught and want to take the next step into a more structured study approach? TAB/Chord readers making the leap to learn notation and theory? Maybe you would like to take a more formal route through a music board syllabus? Or a complete beginner who just wants to have fun playing some of your favourite songs?

Whichever path you're on, I can introduce the correct methods and techniques to apply to your learning. After an introductory meeting, I will work up a personal lesson plan based on what you want to achieve and learn.

I've been a freelance bass player for over a decade now with experience in many
different fields of music and the entertainment business. From big band gigs, cruise ships (Holland America Line), musicals , to the more high demanding schedule of international touring.

I'm originally from Yorkshire, England and have been living in Maastricht for just over a year.

Are you looking for an experienced guitar teacher in Maastricht? Patrick likes to teach you how to play your favorite guitar songs on the acoustic and electric guitar.
You can also go for all guitar styles such as blues guitar, classical guitar, pop and rock and jazz guitar.
The lessons take place in my own atmospheric music studio with free parking.

Work at home with a qualified professional musician and music teacher.
In South Limburg, from Eijsden to Roermond, and the Belgian border region from Tongeren to Maaseik.
The lessons last 30 minutes and are once a week or two weeks. I give bass guitar (pop, rock, funk, jazz) and double bass (classical and jazz). You decide the pace of the lessons yourself and you can always come up with music that you want to learn to play. Every pupil receives customization. I can always adjust the route.
You learn to play notes in a playful way. Later also music theory that is immediately put into practice. You learn to function independently as a bass player in a band, ensemble, combo or orchestra, or just, on your own.

We are all looking for the most effective and efficient way to learn something, only a few succeed doing so.

-Understand and perform basic guitar techniques after ONLY 5 lessons

I’m a guitarist and guitar teacher, in Maastricht and I would like to present you my guitar lessons, also with music theory included and sessions of music for children and families. The space is bright, full of light and appropriate for children, in the center of Maastricht! Activities for all ages! I'm also prepared to teach online!

Professional bass player based in Maastricht, Netherlands.

Subjects that I teach:
1. Electric bass: Learn to play and understand jazz, funk, metal, R&B, pop or any other style with the necessary techniques (including slap bass, from basic to advanced).
2. Double bass: Learn the techniques and knowledge involved in playing double bass and apply them to playing either Jazz, or any other style.
3. Music theory: Learn the theory behind what you are playing and gain a deeper understanding of the music you are playing.
4. Preparation for conservatory (or any other music school) entrance exam: Learn all the necessary skills and knowledge to enter a conservatory.

My classes are for any age and level. Whether you just want to have fun playing music, or you want to become a highly trained musician, I will find a suitable lesson plan for you.

Lessons are in Dutch or English.

Can you already play your instrument but you don't really know what you are doing?
Then I can certainly help you with music theory.
Here you learn the notes, the relationship between the notes, the sequence between the notes, the chords/notes that belong together, the chord sequences, ...

I will explain to you or your child clearly and specifically how and what you should be able to/know to make some music for your free time. we will immediately start learning to play songs, chords and, if you think it is necessary, also learn to read some music.

After graduating from the Syrian Conservatory, I studied classical guitar at the Amatti Institute for Music in Granada, Spain. I obtained my Master's from the Glire Institute of Music in Kyiv, Ukraine. I have a Master's in Art, Literature, and Society from Maastricht University.
