After learning the fundamentals of Music Theory, and having an insight of jazz theory, I'm going to introduce You to a lot of composing and arranging concepts rooting from the jazz world, applicable for all genres and all lineups.

- "PRO CONTEMPORARY MUSICIAN" courses cover the most important topics
and skills that one have to focus on. During my teaching lessons I
discovered people are usually struggleing because of the lack of one of
these fundamentals. I'll help You get these things done.

vagy hiányos tudással rendelkezik ezen készségek területén, ami a probléma forrása.
Ezeket helyre fogjuk rakni.. :)
- Végül, de nem utolsósorban: nélküled nem megy. Lelkes, ambíziózus, kitartó emberek
jelentkezését várom. Minél több munkát fektetsz be és minél következetesebb vagy,
annál jobban látni fogod az eredményeket. Ez egy maraton, nem sprint.

If you're a creative musician and ready to take your game to the next level, you've come to the right place.
The goal of this class is to learn all the tools on your instrument that help you improvise and fit into any orchestra environment.

I will introduce you to several improvisation concepts rooted in the world of jazz, which can be used in all genres. This course is 80% practice, 20% theory.

We will work on:
- Understanding different rhythmic sensations (different triplet sensations, "straight" octave sensations, funk, rock) and
game
- Repertoire knowledge
- Melody variations
- Rhythmic exercises (For more details, a separate course is available)
- Harmonization

I am a professional pianist with 3 Master diplomas and 10 years experience of performance and teaching. I play any kind of music from
Jazz until Classical. I have been working for several music halls, orchestras and music schools as a solo
pianist, chamber partner, piano teacher or accompanist over Switzerland, Hungary, Denmark, United Arab
Emirates, USA and the United Kingdom. I sight-read very well, play music after first listening and improvise

Bertalan offers classical, jazz and improvisation lessons for ages 10 and above, from beginner to advanced. Bertalan has a Masters of Music degree, and has a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2012.
An emerging contemporary music artist's musical style combines free jazz, film music, and world music sonorities. He is a composer of several short films, including one chosen as the best animated short film of the Manchester Film Festival. Bertalan also works with university students and directors from the Budapest Metropolitan University, HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, DSK Supinfocom International Campus, and collaborates with visual artists such as the Light Up Collective and Beeldjutters focusing on audio visual projection art.
Performed improvised piano on many prominent concert stages from Budapest to the Netherlands, and plays in several jazz bands and improvised music ensembles. He composes for games, movies, theatre, and is interested in exploring any platform for creating music and developing exciting ideas.
Bertalan's goal is to provide piano lessons that offer the opportunity to enjoy music while playing it, and to have fun throughout the learning process.

In case that students want to integrate piano lessons with composing, that is also something I would strongly encourage, since piano is the most frequently used instrument for composing music.

My teaching philosophy relies on finding the best path that fits the student. You will be able to learn your favorite songs and styles very quickly, even without any music knowledge beforehand. My focus is on playing popular music, jazz/blues/funk, soundtrack/game music and learning how to play songs from chords without having to read proper sheet music for two hands. Bring your favorite songs and be able to play them quickly!

Dear Music Friends,

My name is Marcell, I’m 29 years old, and I graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

I’ve been teaching privately for 10 years now, I have taught at the Buda “Kis Zene” music school, and as a traveling musician I’ve also toured parts of Europe.

I teach piano, solfège, music theory, and improvisation. I’m also open to lighter genres such as pop or jazz, and we can explore film music as well.

For me, the word “dictatorship” does not exist in teaching. The lessons are tailored to the student’s needs and delivered within a professional framework.

I have students of all ages. Perhaps what I love most about my work is this diversity, and the shared joy when a student reaches and surpasses a milestone.

I also offer lessons at your home — by arrangement.
