Professional jazz musician offers: Guitar lessons private or in group All ages & levels welcome Electric, acoustic guitar or bass guitar In addition to classical guitar training, I obtained a master's degree in jazz and contemporary music as a performing musician. I have lived in Paris and London, played with fantastic musicians and have been teaching young people and adults in Dutch, French and English for over 25 years. The style and level of the lessons are of course dependent on the student. One wants to sing and be able to accompany themselves, the other wants to learn to improvise. Blues, rock, funk, soul, fusion, flamenco, hip hop, mambo, reggae, folk, bossa, disco, ska, samba, tango, classical, pop ... no problem, what matters is that you have fun in the to play. I'll make transcriptions of your favorite music and show you how to play it, teach a solid technique so you can progress and give theory in small steps so you can see how it all fits together. I teach on location, online or at my home (amplifier + lesson guitar available). Are you interested or do you have any questions, just let us know. I hope to hear from you soon!

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment. Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics: - Fundamental techniques of playing electric bass - Understanding and coming up with a bassline - What makes it groove? - How to improvise: soloing and walking bass - How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!) - Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself - How to learn music or play music by ear Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)
