Trusted teacher: Hey there =) Interested in learning piano? Or improving your songwriting or producing? Maybe you are a complete beginner, or maybe you already know a lot and you’d like to expand your skills with some guidance and accountability. I am happy to share what I know with anyone. All ages & skill levels are welcome! Lessons can include: Learning songs & how to practice effectively Understanding harmony and music theory Playing by ear and listening skills Scales, exercises, and proper technique Chord voicings & harmonic wizardry How to improvise and more =) I like to give my students the tools to teach themselves and I believe learning music can be fun and engaging, even when beginning. I'll ask, 'what do you want to be able to do with the piano?' And then I can help you make a plan for how to get there. I have a jazz background and I love to improvise. I have over 10 years of experience playing and performing music, specializing in jazz and improvised music. I studied in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Music specializing in jazz piano and composition. I have been teaching piano for over 8 years now, and have been living here in Berlin for 5 years. Location: I offer lessons from a home music studio at my apartment in Plänterwald, Berlin. I can also travel to your location for an extra charge as long as you're not too far away. Language: I generally speak and teach in English, though I can also speak some German to around B1 level. Available times: My teaching hours are between 9am and 7pm, every day of the week except for Sundays. Send me a message and we can organize a time together =)

Music is a beautiful adventure, and I hope that with my guidance, it will become even more beautiful for you. Theory, practice, musical worldview, and everything you'd like to know—if it's within my power to teach you, you'll learn it in my lessons. You're welcome! :)) I am a teacher, composer, band member, and above all, a pianist. Teaching is my greatest passion. I have been teaching both children and adults for five years. I am a patient teacher with an open approach to learning, and I strive to impart knowledge in a pleasant atmosphere. I have been playing the piano since I was a child, and over my 17-year journey with the instrument, I have learned many methods that accelerate learning, and I am eager to share them with you! I gained my musical education over time at the Krakow School of Jazz, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dominik Wania, Prof. Haruka Matsumoto, and Prof. Jan Kosiak. I started with classical music, performing my first concerts with pieces by Chopin, Beethoven, Debussy, and Mozart. Then came jazz and incredible experiences with Hancock, Chick Corea, and Bill Evans. Currently, I am trying to find my own musical path both as a solo artist and as part of a band. Music is a continuous journey into the unknown, along with discovering oneself and expressing one's emotions.
