Fashion design encompasses everything from the initial concept to its execution in fabric. In this course, we will review the entire process, from the initial planning stages, including research into references, silhouettes, and so on, to the details of garment construction: pattern making, basic alterations, fabric selection and sewing techniques, as well as sewing on trims (zippers, buttons, etc.). I learned sewing and pattern making from my grandmother, like many of us! Passionate about history, she passed on to me her love of savoir-faire, craftsmanship and historical costumes. In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. I then specialised in costume and audiovisual productions by taking part in several short films. A year ago, I obtained my Master's degree in stage costume design and production. I was lucky enough to do several internships in Parisian fashion houses, especially in the tailoring workshops.
