In our classes, we will focus on the repertoire of your preference, in addition to exploring other pieces that will aid in enhancing your technical prowess and musical expression.
My objective centers around instilling enough motivation in students to derive enjoyment from their independent study and practice, resulting in noticeable skill advancement within a short timeframe.
Typically, I am adaptable to students' backgrounds and the musical genres that pique their interest. Moreover, we can intensify our pace if you're considering conservatory entrance exams or competitions.
For added convenience, I offer the option of conducting lessons via Skype.

Hello! I'm Darío, and with more than 7 years of teaching experience, I specialize in teaching piano and harpsichord to students of all kinds of levels. My goal is to motivate students enough for them to enjoy practicing on their own, and to see an advance in their skills in a short-time period.
I prefer to teach expats in English or Spanish, but those who wish to have lessons in French are welcome as well!

Opleiding

Studies coursed at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre:
- Bachelor's Degree in Piano
- Master's Diploma cum laude in Piano
- Master's Diploma cum laude in Early Music Performance

Participant in several masterclasses by artists of international fame (Jorge Luis Prats, Mahan Esfahani, Janusz Olejniczak...) and in advanced courses abroad.
Has completed several exchange programmes in prestigious universities such as Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, Liszt Academy in Budapest and Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

Leservaring

More than 5 years of experience as a teacher, both in several music academies and giving particular lessons.
Experience as a concert pianist, chamber musician and soloist with several orchestras.
Participant in several music productions throughout Europe.

Maarten will give you the piano lessons. He can teach classical, and jazz piano. He graduated his studies in the conservatory of Amsterdam with prof. Jan Wijn and graduated with the highest score among piano students (Bachelor of Music, piano). He played several solo and chamber music concerts in concert hall, church, museum, library, hospital and elderly houses. He is regularly invited by Belgium Chamber music festival to play with famous musicians such as guitarist philip Catherine. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts.

Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French. Asako can teach the cello for all levels and ages. Especially She is enthusiastic about teaching.

In the first lesson Younes asks some questions about your experience with playing the piano, what kind of music (genre) you like, and what you encounter while playing the piano.

The lessons are positive and solution-oriented, we focus on what you need and want to achieve. Furthermore, Younes will give an introduction and the basic techniques if needed, and then the intention is of course to play :)
