I'm a soprano originally from San Francisco specializing in Opera. I came here to study and now I work at Theater Basel in the chorus. I love teaching singing to adults and piano to children.

I taught piano to children for three years at Pico Music School in Lucerne. There I refined my understanding of how children learn and focs.

Singing is what I do each and every day. I love to share what I do via voice lessons because there is so much trust involved in the relationship between student and teacher. One can really develop yourself personally by working on one's voice. I use a lot of bodywork in my teaching to ensure that you are singing in a healthy and flexible way.

Piano and Keyboard Lessons for Children taught by Master of Music Pedagogy

For an upgrade, preparation of contests or continuous follow-up during the year.
We will find together what type of course suits you according to your expectations and your objectives.
Professor for several years, I will use my professional experience to best meet your needs.
Working both in baroque and classical music, our objectives can be focused on a specific period or composer as part of a preparation of entrance exams or final exams.

I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

I am a classical singer (mezzosoprano) from Barcelona. I started my musical studies playing the violin and the viola. I was singing in choirs from I was 5, and there my love for singing started. I studied my bachelor degree in The Neteherlands with the teacher Hanneke de Witt, I have a double degree: performence and pedagogy. Now I am going to do my master with Marcel Bonne.
My main goal when I teach is to help the student to find the freedom on the vocal, physical and mental expression. I like to work on music but also on tecninc. I think it is a very important part to find the freedom. I ike to create a lovely space when I teach where the student can find the support and the freedom to try out different things. I have a lot of patience, as a singer you need to be patient and to try again and again.
I love to help the students to find their way to teach themselves so they don't need that much lessons in the futur.

I finished my Bachelor in the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels and I am doing a Master Performance in Basel. I give violin lessons to people or children who want to start and to improve their level, always enjoying the process! I can also give music theory lessons: learn how to read scores, solfegio or basic harmony, and the lessons should be in English, Spanish or French.
I really enjoy giving lessons, and I know how to keep the children focus on what they are doing. The large experience in masterclasses I have taken along different countries around Europe makes me able to understand the problems of the children with the instrument and how to solve them in a logical and pleasant way.

My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel.

Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation, in “Orquesta Juvenil del Sur,” an orchestra for underprivileged children, as a trumpet teacher at St Andrew's Scots School and as a private teacher.

Apart from my teaching experience I was selected to participate in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". I am also working as a producer recording in my home studio.

As a violinist for 21 years now, 12 years at the conservatory and 9 years as a private teacher, I offer quality lessons adapted to your level. We'll focus on technique (scales, etudes) but we'll also look at a few tricks to improve your playing.
It's advisable to do some music theory on the side to be able to read notes and rhythm properly. I can help you with that too.
I'm very patient and gentle. I can come to your place, but I can also give lessons by videoconference.
