You send me five or six recent ones, and in the first session I show you the pattern behind your losses - not the individual blunders, but the recurring decision that keeps costing you points. Most players are losing rating to two or three habits, and naming them is half the work. From there we build the preparation around your calendar: - Opening repertoire that is narrow enough to prepare properly, chosen for the tournaments you actually play. - Opponent research before a round: what they play, where they are uncomfortable, what to steer towards. - Middlegame plans out of your own structures, so preparation and play connect. - Endgame technique for the positions that decide competitive games - rook endings above all. - Calculation under time pressure, trained with a clock, because untimed exercises do not transfer. - Time management and how to play the round after a loss.
