International Chess Master – Tailor-made training for effective and lasting progressTranslate this text using Google Translate.

International Chess Master – Tailor-made training for effective and lasting progressTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Every player is different. Some are discovering chess, others wish to take their game to the next level, gain Elo points or prepare for a competition. My work begins with an essential step: understanding your game. I analyze your thought processes, how you select potential moves, calculate, manage your time, and make decisions. I also identify your strengths, weaknesses, and the goals you wish to achieve. Based on this analysis, we build a training program that truly suits you. ◆ Why are some players stagnating? Resources for improvement have never been so plentiful: videos, gaming platforms, tactical exercises, databases, analysis engines... However, having access to more information does not always mean making better progress. Watching videos can be instructive, but it often remains a passive activity: understanding an explanation is very different from being able to find the right idea yourself in front of the chessboard. Many players prefer fast paces, whereas taking more time to think during games is often essential for improvement. After the game, they check their accuracy rate, browse the variants offered by the engine and identify their mistakes... without always understanding why they made them. An engine can tell you the best move, but it doesn't teach you how to find it yourself. That's the whole difference between knowing the answer and learning how to think. To make lasting progress, you need to go beyond simply acknowledging the mistake: understand why it happened and what needs to change in your way of thinking. This is precisely where the personalized support of a coach becomes truly meaningful. ◆ A method built around your game The first sessions are mainly devoted to analyzing your games. I'm not just looking for shots that could have been better. I'm trying to understand what led you to play them. What did you see in the position? What did you consider? What did you rule out? This analysis helps to identify recurring patterns in your game and to establish precise priorities. We then build your training program based on your level, your goals and the time you can dedicate to chess. Depending on your needs, we will work in particular on: ● Openings and game plans ● Tactics and calculation methods ● Positional strategy and understanding ● Essential Finals ● In-depth analysis of your games ● Competition preparation ● Time management, self-confidence and mental preparation I always prioritize understanding over rote learning. My goal is not simply to show you what to play, but to pass on the methods that will gradually allow you to find the right ideas on your own. I support beginners who want to acquire a good foundation, as well as club players, competitors and online players of all levels. ◆ Concrete results Here are some recent results obtained by my students: ➤ 800 → 1600 Elo on Chess.com after a year and a half of lessons for an adult player. ➤ 1650 → 2000 Elo FIDE after about fifteen hours of lessons for a 16-year-old student. ➤ First FIDE Elo above 1950 after a year of work for a previously unrated student. ➤ 1600 → 2000 FIDE Elo in two years for a young player who became Champion of Paris in his category. ➤ 1600 → 2380 Elo on Chess.com in 15-minute games after a year of lessons at a rate of 3 hours per week for an adult player. These results naturally depend on the starting level, regularity and investment of each student. Their testimonials will give you an idea of the progress made and the atmosphere in which the sessions take place. ◆ Children's classes My approach is tailored to their age, level, and ability to concentrate. The joy of playing and the desire to learn remain essential. Through exercises and educational games, they gradually learn to think better, anticipate, and make their own decisions at the chessboard. ◆ Videoconference classes Video conferencing is particularly well-suited to teaching chess. Thanks to screen sharing, we can analyze your games, study positions together, work on your openings, compare different ideas and perform exercises in real time. After each session, I will send you the materials used so that you can review the concepts studied and continue your work between classes. ◆ Your chess project Send me a message briefly describing your level, experience, and goals. Contacting me is already taking the first step towards your progress.

Coaching for all levels by an experienced teacher (over 100 students coached)Translate this text using Google Translate.

My name is Daniil, and chess has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old. Passionate about this fascinating game since childhood, I've played hundreds of competitions and won dozens of youth and adult tournaments. For the past 10 years, I have been sharing my passion for chess as a teacher in various settings: clubs, primary schools, secondary schools, private lessons, and associations. I also teach in English and Russian. Furthermore, I graduated from the Sorbonne with a Masters in international strategy and business intelligence. Some figures to know me better: • 10 years of experience in teaching chess • 20 years of experience in club and competition • Official 1900 FIDE / 2400 Elo rating on online platforms • More than 2,500 courses given to 1,000 students in group and individual lessons Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, my lessons are designed to help you progress quickly while having fun playing. My method is based on solid teaching experience and relies on a comprehensive and structured approach, suitable for all levels. It is based on three main axes: 1. Learning the fundamentals: Learn or consolidate the essential principles in the opening, middlegame and endgames. 2. Tactics and strategy: develop your sense of the game with targeted, fun and practical exercises. 3. Analyze your games: Understand your mistakes, identify your strengths, and apply this knowledge in your games. My goal is to offer you a clear and complete vision of the game, to progress effectively and achieve your goals, whether it is to play for pleasure or in competition.

Chess lessons for children, teens and adults | Adapted teaching methods, tactics and strategy [ONLINE and at home]Translate this text using Google Translate.

Chess has been a part of my life since I was 7 years old. I grew up with this game, participated in many competitions and, over time, I discovered one thing above all: I love sharing it. Today, I want to pass on this passion to those who wish to discover chess or simply become better, whether they are children, teenagers or adults. For children, my primary goal is for chess to remain enjoyable. Through the game, I help them learn to concentrate, take time to think before acting, anticipate, and better manage their emotions and impulsiveness. I adapt to their personality and pace, including when a child struggles to maintain focus for extended periods. For teenagers, the focus is more on progression: understanding their mistakes, developing their tactical reflexes, learning to build a plan and, for those who wish, increasing their Elo rating on Chess.com. For adults: whether you are starting from scratch or already play regularly, we can work together on your weaknesses, your games and your goals to allow you to progress while having more fun playing. I am a patient, smiling, and passionate person. I prefer a lesson where we exchange ideas, where the student reflects and searches for themselves, rather than a lesson where we simply recite variations. My goal is for you to finish each session having learned something... and with the desire to play again.

Chess lessons for beginners and intermediate players | Tactics, strategy and game analysis [ONLINE]Translate this text using Google Translate.

Chess lessons for beginners and intermediate players | Tactics, strategy and game analysis [ONLINE]Translate this text using Google Translate.

Passionate about chess since childhood and a teacher by profession, I offer online courses aimed primarily at beginner and intermediate players who wish to progress in a structured way while retaining the pleasure of playing. My goal is not simply to teach you moves or openings to memorize. My main aim is to help you understand why a move is good, how to construct a plan, and how to identify tactical possibilities on the chessboard. The courses are tailored to your level, age and goals. Depending on your needs, we can work: - the rules of the game and the fundamental principles; - the development of the pieces and the principles of opening; - tactics: forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, typical checkmates; - the strategy and the construction of a plan; - the middle of the game; - the essential finals; - the calculation of variants; - time management; - the analysis of your own games. An important part of my method involves analyzing the games you've played with you. Together, we look for key moments, mistakes, missed opportunities, and the best alternatives. For beginners, we progress gradually in order to build good habits from the very first games. For intermediate players, we can work more specifically on their weaknesses, delve deeper into certain tactical or strategic themes, and analyze their games in detail. The lessons are interactive: you play, you think, you suggest moves and we analyze the positions together. Children, teenagers and adults are welcome.

The courses are organized to be complete and not to leave a setback area. To ensure an effective investment of the student's time, the focus is on the areas where my help has the most value (Finals and Strategy). Calculation and theoretical learning are often left to the student in personal work: - Strategy: Before each lesson, I systematically analyze the games played by the student during the week on the internet. These analyzes generally make it possible to identify strategic gray areas, and allow us to resolve together certain points of misunderstanding. I then usually offer in-depth analysis of "classic" games from masters who illustrate the most important ideas seen during the analysis. This allows a deeper assimilation of the concepts seen previously, rather than a simple correction by pointing out errors as a computer would have done. - Openings: I prepare on my time, outside of class, files of openings that I then send to the student and that he can work by himself and learn alone, once the class is over. On request, we can examine model parts together on an opening in order to complete the personal learning work. It is also possible to play practice games on a specific variant, in preparation for an important game or tournament. - Tactics / Calculation: I provide each course with work materials for the recognition of tactical patterns and the development of calculation skills in general. - Finals: This is an often neglected and extremely important aspect of the game. The final since being the last phase of the game often decides the result :) I usually put a lot of emphasis on the study of endgames, but it is possible to insist on other aspects of the game if the student shows the need. I also regularly tackle so-called classic games, essential for learning chess at any level. These games are known to every chess player from a certain point, and they are the foundation of modern strategy. - I also have experience as a high-level correspondence player: I took part in a qualifying tournament for the correspondence world championships where I finished undefeated. This forced me to improve my mastery of modern work tools (computers and different databases) and I am able to assist strong players looking for a training partner. - I have been teaching chess for more than ten years now, and have had students of all ages (the youngest was just 5 years old, and the oldest over 70) and all levels: from complete beginners who did not know the rules of the game, has confirmed players close to 2100 elo FIDE. I can therefore adapt to any request without any problem. All my students who have invested enough have experienced a very rapid improvement in their results regardless of their age or starting level: For example, a 26-year-old student who had been playing for a short time and at a level of approximately 1500 on Lichess has, in the space of a few weeks and less than ten lessons, improved his ranking by more than 400 elo points and arrived very close to the symbolic bar of 2000. :) His case is not isolated, but this performance remains remarkable. Do not hesitate to contact me for any request for information. :)

Private chess tutor. From beginner to intermediate. Learning from Soviet textbooks translated into French.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Have you always wanted to learn how to play chess? Chess isn't just a game of thought and strategy; it's a powerful metaphor for life. By learning to play, you'll develop essential skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking. Every move on the board is an opportunity to plan, anticipate, and react—valuable skills both on and off the board. These courses are for anyone who wants to discover or learn more about chess. Whether you're a primary school student, a university student, a professional, or a senior, it's never too late to learn. Hello, my name is Lev, I'm 19 years old and a refugee from Ukraine. I've been living in France since 2022 and have been passionate about chess since childhood. Trained according to Soviet standards, I firmly believe that chess develops essential skills for real life. I offer courses based on the book "Journey to the Kingdom of Chess" by Avérbakh You.L. and Beïlin MA, published in 1970. This book is considered one of the best for beginners from the Soviet era. It offers a comprehensive and accessible introduction to chess, covering the basics while gradually introducing more advanced concepts. For intermediate players, we will study together the book series "The School of Higher Mastery" by Mark Dvoretsky. This four-book set is renowned for its in-depth and structured approach, allowing players to take their chess skills to the next level. These works cover essential aspects such as strategy, tactics, endgames, and the psychology of the game.

Progress in chess with a passionate coach. Teaching adapted to all ages, video recording of lessons! ♟Translate this text using Google Translate.

I went through this myself, not so long ago, so I know how to adapt to the student to meet their needs. My teaching is based on my experiences as a club player (in leisure and during competitions), as well as on various resources (chess books, online videos, websites). My learning method will be done via the strengths and weaknesses of the student. Here are the 3 phases of play that we will study through exercises where I will accompany the student towards the answer. -Opening: We will see the key principles to know to develop properly, as well as adapted recommendations on game theory. -Mid-game: Work from tactical exercises to refine intuition, improve calculation power and stimulate creativity. We will also explore strategy and the art of designing an effective plan. -Endgame: Learning basic checkmates, fundamental endgame concepts, and endgame pawn structures. Finally, I will analyze the student's games and then offer them suitable exercises, a kind of homework that will allow them to progress even when I'm not there! By the way, I propose to record the lessons and share the link with you so that you can review them if necessary. Please note that I speak English fluently and can give lessons in this language if necessary.

Fawzi is friendly with an approachable manner. He is quick to understand your level of French and what needs to be achieved. He explains French very well and makes you feel comfortable even if you are inexperienced and looks for the positives in your approach to learning. I am happy with our training schedule so far and I hope to develop and gain confidence in my pronunciation of French and speaking.

Fantastic introductory lesson with my son (11). Very good communication (and fluent in English) and open manner. My son was engaged throughout the whole lesson and I received helpful feedback at the end. This was the first of a 10 lesson package.

Contact plaisant, contenu riche. Merci
