Maths helps us to better understand the world around us. Practicing mathematical skills helps to advance your ability to problem-solve and increase your analytical thinking. As it is so crucial for development, this subject is compulsory for students up to the age of 16, therefore it is beneficial that your child is consistently up-to-date on their curriculum.

During my sessions, I will assess their abilities in different topics. I will then focus on teaching them in their weaker areas to better prepare them for class assessments or SATs for Year 6s. However, if your child is advanced for their age, I will help them continue to progress and learn topics that may not have been covered at school yet.

I have a BA in French and Spanish and a 168h TEFL Level 5 Certificate.

I have worked as a tutor in Italy, UK and Vietnam. I have extensive experience working with students whose ages vary from 4 to 18 years old.

Having learnt languages myself, I understand the difficulties one may undergo when learning a language. For this reason, I have a vast variety of activities which I like to use to keep my lessons interesting and exciting, and to maintain focus levels high!

I can offer a variety of lessons and topics including: conversational English; Business English; English for Travelling; Tips for studying abroad.

In my math class, students will engage in a dynamic blend of activities designed to enhance their understanding and application of mathematical concepts. They will participate in interactive lessons, where fundamental principles are introduced and explained. Websites such as Maths genie and corbettmaths will be used to help the student understand every topic there is to know. Additionally, they'll collaborate with classmates on problem-solving exercises fostering teamwork and critical thinking skills. Hands-on activities and real-world examples will provide context and relevance to the mathematical concepts being taught. Regular assessments, including quizzes and tests, will be used to gauge understanding and track progress. My math class aims to cultivate not only proficiency in mathematical techniques but also a deeper appreciation for the beauty and utility of mathematics in the world around us.
