Trusted teacher: Hey! Are you looking for a young, approachable yet meticulous tutor in Computer Science or Mathematics? Then I believe I might be the tutor for you! I offer lessons in the aforementioned subjects (English only) for high-school and bachelor students at the start of their studies. A little bit about me: My name is Bozhidar and I am a MSc Data Science student at ETH Zuerich. Last year, I completed my bachelor's in Computer Science at TU Delft (the #1 technical university in the Netherlands) with distinction. I was a teaching assistant for 10 courses during my stay at the university. Additionally, I have given private lessons to a few high school and bachelor's students, so I believe I have accumulated enough experience with guiding and tutoring students across different disciplines. I have found out that I enjoy teaching a lot, so that is why I am here - to help you and myself! My expertise: During my high school years, I won tens of awards and scholarships for achievements in Mathematics and Computer Science. I also won my high school's recognition award which is given to one student every year for distinctive results. I've helped high-school and university peers with exam preparation, taught whole courses privately, prepared sample exams, and reviewed and graded real ones. Regarding the university courses I have experience in, I have taught: - Object-Oriented Programming - Reasoning & Logic - Computer Organisation - Algorithms and Data Structures - Web and Database Technologies - Calculus - Information & Data Management - Automata, Computability and Complexity - Concepts of Programming Languages - Computational Intelligence Here are some of the reviews I have received as a teaching assistant: Overall: 4.97/5 (70 reviews) 5/5 - "Great job! Did far more than just explaining this example and went far deeper into the material, helping me to understand it." 5/5 - "Favourite TA. Always there for the difficult questions. Never leaves anything unanswered no matter how long it takes." 5/5 - "Delightful person with an insightful way of thought! Brilliant TA!" 5/5 - "Clear explanations and expert in the material" So, what are you waiting for? Write me a message and let's get the knowledge train running.

I favor the learning by doing method >>> Who am I? For information, I am consultant / trainer and certified Microsoft Excel Expert. I have considerable experience in training. Indeed, I have trained hundreds of people whether in groups, or in private. >>> Location of the training? The place is to be agreed with the apprentice. Training can also be organized remotely (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype...) >>> Content of the training I can adapt to your level and your needs in terms of content. Here is a non-exhaustive example of the subjects taught. **** Excel Training (Beginner and Intermediate) **** Part I: Basic Concepts What is Excel? Discover the Excel window. Workbooks, spreadsheets, cells. Use the toolbars, the menu, the help. Part II: Working in a spreadsheet Identify basic concepts Manage cells: capture and copy Set up formulas. Master the modes of referencing cells: absolute, relative. Insert, delete rows or columns, move fields. Part III: Formatting a spreadsheet Format cells: present numbers, text, titles. Trusted teacher: Often times in Math and Science subjects, students end up feeling lost because they didn't fully grasp a fundamental concept or gain enough confidence in using it. Classes often have a strict schedule to follow, which does not allow them the flexibility of revisiting concepts a student may have missed. Rather than marching on at an unstoppable pace, I place focus on figuring out what gaps in knowledge a student might have and addressing those first, to ensure their foundation is strong enough to always know what the next step is. My goal is to teach a student how to use their pre-existing knowledge to be able to analyse new concepts and to develop their problem solving and inference skills. Being able to consistently figure out what you don't know and what you can figure out is the basis of strong learning and problem solving skills, and I aim to make this approach a second nature for my students. Furthermore, knowing what inevitably needs to be memorized (and how to drill this information into your brain) and what can be easily reconstructed from a problem's given information and what you know, are, in my opinion, the cornerstones of efficient study and test-taking skills. Instilling this concept into my students' processes is another of my major goals. As for whom this class may suit: I can teach Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics from an elementary school level to the university level (depending on the exact subject), and can teach Chemistry up to the high school senior level. If you are unsure about whether a topic or class falls into this range, please feel free to message me!

Mr. Bozhidar is really knowledgable and teaches really well. Even if the topic is a little confusing, he breaks it down and explains things in simple terms. He encourages students to try solving things by themselves first to improve logic and problem solving skills. Every question I had was answered and explained easily. Highly recommend!
