I offer online tutoring for Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Spanish up to and including KS5 (A-levels). I absolutely love these subjects and really would like to help fellow students in their understanding and appreciation for these subjects. I use a variety of resources, and engage students in active learning throughout sessions to ensure that they leave the lesson feeling confident in their ability to apply their knowledge. I use Zoom, and make use of the whiteboard to visually explain concepts to students. I also make sure to test students' understanding using google forms and exam questions.

Extra information

The student must have a device with Zoom downloaded so that they can access the online call for the lesson; they may also want to have a personal email through which I can send them Zoom links and resources used during lessons.

I really love tutoring, because not only does it give me an opportunity to help fellow students, it also helps me to consolidate my own knowledge! I really enjoy explaining scientific and mathematical concepts, and I have unending patience when it comes to helping others in their understanding of these concepts. I would like my students to engage in the sessions, ask lots of questions (challenge me even!), and to be confident in speaking up when they are unsure of something, or need something better explained. Feedback is so important to me and I always make sure to take criticism onboard and in a positive way to improve the tutees' experiences.
