Hi! I’m Oleg, a professional guitarist and music educator based in Groningen, Netherlands. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar from Prins Claus Conservatorium, however most of my musical education happened on real stages — performing, touring, and working full-time as a musician since 2016. I’ve toured internationally aboard Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, P&O, Cunard, Ponant, and Princess Cruises, performing everything from solo sets and jazz nights to full-scale theatre productions with singers, dancers, and a full technical crew for audiences up to 1500 people. This experience shaped me into a truly versatile musician — equally comfortable playing jazz, rock, blues, funk, bossanova, pop. 🔽 I can teach you how to play: ⚡️🎸Electric guitar 🎵🎸Acoustic guitar 🔊🎸Bass guitar 🎼🎸Classical guitar 🔽 What you’ll get: ➡️ 1-on-1 private lesson via Zoom or in person at my home studio ➡️ Personalized approach for your skill level and musical goals ➡️ Focus on the basics: technique, rhythm, harmony, ear development ➡️ Real-world insights from a full-time performing musician ➡️ Sheet music, exercises and backing tracks tailored for you ➡️ Lessons available in English or Russian 🔽 Lesson focus areas: 🎸 Technique 🎶 Improvisation & Composition 🎸 Fretboard knowledge 🎵 Ear training 📘 Music theory & harmony & sight-reading 💻 Music notation (Sibelius, Guitar Pro) 🔽 All levels welcome Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or you’re an experienced player wanting to sharpen your skills, I tailor every lesson to your needs. Hello, my name is Marlou. I was nine years old when I first held a guitar. It was love at first sight. I always have my guitar with me. I've been teaching for ten years, and after a year of lessons, one of my students uttered the unforgettable line: "My guitar is my soulmate." With a guitar, you have a friend for life. I want everyone to experience that. Everyone learns differently. Some people want to learn notes and visualize sheet music, while others play by ear. Some want to hear a song first and sing it without a guitar, while others want to play along right away. It's all possible. In your first lesson, you can tell me what you want to learn, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. After each lesson, I'll give you exercises to practice at home. The more you practice at home, the faster we'll progress. If you'd like, you can record the lesson so you can listen to it again at home and practice along with it. I'll teach you all the basic chords. I'll pay close attention to your guitar posture and the way you place your hands and fingers on the guitar. The better you master the basic chords, the easier it will be to learn new and more complex things later. I can also teach you how to strum the guitar. And if you're interested, I can teach you how to read music. If you'd like to learn to sing while you perform, I can teach you simple tricks to make singing easier. I'm not a singing teacher, but thanks to my initial training in speech therapy, CVT (Complete Vocal Training) singing lessons, and my stage experience as a singer, I have extensive knowledge of learning proper breathing and training your breath support. I can also teach you how to overcome your shyness, if that's your problem. Playing and singing at the same time will then become a lot of fun.

For me, violin lessons are about more than just learning notes - it's about expressing your inner world through music. My name is Ann, a Finnish violinist and dedicated teacher based in Charlois, Rotterdam. I enjoy guiding students of all ages, both beginners and advanced players, toward confident and expressive music-making. What to expect? My approach is friendly, motivating, and focused on building a strong musical foundation. Whether you’re picking up the violin for the first time or looking to develop existing skills, I tailor each lesson to your goals, interests, learning pace, and personality. My lessons are available in English, German, and Finnish. Additionally, I speak a little bit of Spanish, Swedish, and Dutch. Trial lesson A trial lesson is a relaxed opportunity to get to know each other, try the instrument, and talk about your ambitions, favorite music, and practical details such as scheduling and location. No violin yet? You’re welcome to borrow one of mine during the trial, and I can help you choose or rent a suitable instrument. Classical, tango and other music styles Alongside classical music, I have a specialization in Argentinian tango music. I also have a lot of experience on performing and teaching other music styles such as contemporary, Latin, folk music and pop. My background I hold a Master of Music from Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. My earlier studies took place in Oulu, Helsinki, and Porvoo (Finland). In addition to teaching, I perform actively across Europe, collaborating with symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles. I’m also co-founder of The Cosmopolitan String Quartet and Zenanns Duo.
