I believe that it is the role of a private tutor to adapt to his students and their level, then gradually and diligently, by adopting a constructive and positive pedagogy, and through regular work and wise advice, to make them progress methodically. Being concerned about the quality of one's teaching, whatever the discipline taught, giving students the means to learn and progress as well as the taste for effort are, in my humble opinion, the essential ingredients of our profession.
