What can you expect from my tutoring?
- I am enthusiastic about the subject and have knowledge that extends deep into mathematics. I see math problems as little puzzles waiting to be solved, I hope that my tutoring can show others that math can be fun too. If a student has great difficulty with mathematics and I see how, thanks to my help, they still understand how the answer is arrived at, that is the biggest motivation for me.
How is my lesson organized?
- In the first lesson I like to meet my tutoring students, we also discuss which tests, SOs or exams are coming up and which subjects you have problems with in the short term. We will deal with these topics first.
- In the lessons that follow, we first ensure that the upcoming tests are successfully completed and we make a plan of action. This action plan consists of a number of goals that we keep in mind. This way we can start writing down the dates of upcoming major exams and we will see what you want to achieve this year. This may be that you just want to pass this year, but also that you would like to get a higher grade than what you get now. You can also indicate that a certain skill is still difficult and you would like help with this.
