My name is Emilie and I am passionate about Chinese language and culture.
I studied Mandarin for ten years at a Taiwanese school and am now perfectly bilingual in French and Chinese. For over eight years, I have been teaching Chinese to children and teenagers, with more than a dozen students having been mentored over the years.
My goal is simple: To pass on to children a love of Chinese and to support them in their progress, in a caring and fun environment where everyone learns at their own pace.
I offer individual or duo lessons, directly at the student's home, in order to create a comfortable and personalized learning environment.
The price quoted is for an individual lesson. Duo lessons are also available, with a slight additional charge.
The lessons are tailored to age and level, remain highly interactive, and include:

🎨 Crafts and creative activities
🎵 Chinese nursery rhymes and songs

📚 Stories and activities about Chinese culture
All activities are conducted in Chinese, in order to allow the student to gradually develop their vocabulary, comprehension and oral expression, while gaining confidence.
The idea is to find the method that will truly make people want to learn.
After a certain period, I take the time to talk with the parents and/or the student. Their feedback allows me to adapt my lessons and offer an increasingly personalized learning experience, based on the student's progress, desires, and motivation.
