Hello,

My name is Rimel and I have a passion for distributing (and gaining) knowledge. Aside from training as a clinician, I pride myself on having over 7 years of experience tutoring in various different environments. I have been tutoring from 11+ all the way to A-Level, both in specialist Ofsted approved tuition centers and privately via 1:1 sessions. The subjects in which I have ample experience of teaching are English Literature, English Language, Chemistry, Biology (all up to A-Level), and Maths (up to GCSE). What have I been gaining out of tutoring my tutees? Putting a smile on their face when they finally grasp a difficult concept, building rapport with my tutees, and enabling them to achieve their academic goals. These rewarding factors have always been the pinnacle of my career as a tutor. I now wish to enhance and expand the lovely group of tutees who are currently undertaking sessions with me.

I absolutely love teaching and making a real difference to the learning of my tutees. My lessons are planned according to personalised learning needs of my students and I ensure that every minute of the lesson is spent enriching their learning experience as much as possible. I also ensure that I ask students at the end of each session whether they felt that their learning outcomes were met and whether they benefited from the session. This allows me to steer the upcoming sessions towards a pace and direction which is more suitable for the particular student, if need be. All in all, teaching is my passion and hearing of my tutees achieving their academic goals fills my heart with joy.

I have over 4 years of experience in teaching and tutoring English as a second language. I am currently a PhD researcher at King’s College London and run this tutoring business on the side, as I enjoy motivating students to learn new skills and overcome challenges.

I have studied English language and literature for all of my academic life and being multi-lingual (Fluent in Dutch and Sinhala), I understand how difficult it is to learn a language as a complete beginner. I am an empathetic and understanding teacher, but I also know how to push your limits and show you what you are capable of.

I will assign some, flexible homework for out of class, but most of the content will be addressed in the lesson. I am available to teach all levels of English or aid in English literature, but please message me for more information!

Hello everyone,

I am a 22 years old Belgian Female who recently moved in London in order to pursue my law studies. I completed my bachelor at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, and have acquired a lot of tutoring experience over the past three years. Indeed, alongside my studies, I have always dedicated some of my time to tutor French/English/Dutch lessons to people of all ages.

My lessons are taught in a way as to encourage my students to live the language they want to learn. I give considerable importance to improving one's verbal abilities, and my lessons are structured as follows:

- Warm-up games (i.e., vocabulary games).
- Verbal Skills: Debate on any topic of the student's interest.
- Writing Skills: Small essays to write at home following the debate (correction during the next class where attention shall be paid to grammar rules, etc.).
- Listening Skills: Analysis and translation of popular songs.
