I use Suzuki method for teaching the violin. Suzuki believes that everyone can learn music in the right environment.

As a native Spanish speaker I am, I offer particular Spanish classes for people of any level. Since the methodology I use is based essentially in conversation but also in useful resources and dynamic activities to develop oneself's skills, I can easily adapt the class to the student's need.

From my experience, I have realized a language can only be learnt by acquiring the need to speak it. For that reason, basing classes on spontaneous and natural conversations is the best way to become fluent. Would be a pleasure to be part of your Spanish learning process!

The most important thing for me to begin with is to know the purpose and level of the student. After that we choose a teaching method together.
I learn all the skills in different ways (games, videos, books...) The lesson never gets boring. We speak Spanish or Dutch from day one. I passed the IB diploma program for Biology Standard Level with full marks, I also received a 7 on my Internal Assessment (IA). I have a very good grasp on what the IB expects from it's students (all the weird and wonderful little criteria.) I have a very good grasp on Biology the subject itself, as it was one of my favorite classes and I understand the concepts on a broader and more minute scale, so I can help students to understand the topics as well as the specifics and how they all play into one another. I aim to provide students with not just the memorization of information in a somewhat robotic sense, but an actual understanding and comfortable grasp on all the topics, ideas and concepts. I can help with any homework or course work provided, including providing feedback and guidance on essays and assignments. I also like to set out extra homework (not difficult, just based on our sessions) to get back to me at the next meeting so that the student's confidence and grasp on the subjects continues to build and I can see where exactly they need assistance.

NB: prior to our meetings, if possible, I would appreciate being sent whatever course work or topics the student is currently doing in class (or the syllabus, in the best case scenario) in order to best maximize my planning and ability to assist.

I give tutoring and homework support for the Spanish subject. I can help you with your homework or with things you run into. This applies to all areas of the subject, including, for example, grammar, vocabulary or everyday conversation elements.

In the tutoring I first determine the level of the student and based on that I see in which areas the student needs help. I provide that help by offering written assignments and oral interactions. Sometimes I do a quiz to determine the student's progress.

I keep the classes flexible. For example, these can always be canceled and they do not have to be scheduled with much time in advance. I want to keep my relationship with the student and parents personal, as I am only a student myself.
