About Me
Hi, I'm Enrico, a professional pianist, music educator and independent artist from Italy, currently based in Valencia, Spain.
My musical journey began at an early age and has now spanned over 15 years. I first trained as an organist at the Conservatory of Rovigo, where I spent eight years studying Organ and Organ Composition, building a strong foundation in classical repertoire, harmony, counterpoint and music theory.
Driven by a growing passion for contemporary music and improvisation, I later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Piano, expanding my expertise in jazz harmony, improvisation, composition and modern performance.
One of the defining moments of my musical journey came when I attended the prestigious Umbria Jazz Clinics, where I was awarded a Full Scholarship to Berklee College of Music. This opportunity brought me to Valencia, Spain, where I continued my studies in an international and inspiring musical environment.
Today, I combine my work as a performer, independent artist and piano teacher. I am passionate about helping students not only learn to play the piano, but also understand how music works and develop effective practice habits that lead to lasting progress.
I believe that consistent, mindful practice is the key to musical growth. My goal is to help every student become an independent musician who learns with confidence, curiosity and enjoyment.
Whether you're a complete beginner, an adult returning to the piano, or an advanced student looking to refine your technique, improvisation or musical understanding, I'll create a personalised learning path tailored to your goals and aspirations.
I look forward to helping you discover your musical potential.
I believe that learning music should be both inspiring and structured. Every student is different, so I design each lesson around their individual goals, interests, and learning pace.
Rather than simply teaching students to play pieces, I focus on helping them understand music. My lessons combine technique, musical expression, ear training, harmony, and effective practice strategies, so students develop the skills to become confident and independent musicians.
My background in both classical and jazz allows me to offer a balanced approach. Classical training provides a solid technical foundation, while jazz encourages creativity, improvisation, and a deeper understanding of music.
Lessons are interactive and practical, with clear objectives and personalized exercises. I also provide practice tips to help students make steady progress between lessons.
Depending on the student's goals, lessons may include: Piano technique and posture, classical or jazz repertoire, improvisation, music theory and harmony, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm and timing,
exam preparation (ABRSM, Trinity), practice planning, and performance coaching.
