Singer trained in both classical and modern discipline settled in Granada for eight years, participated in numerous recording projects in every style and color. It was there where Pepa started to define her musical personality, identity strongly linked to African-American music: Blues, Soul, and Jazz. Her strong interest and desire to learn more about music motivated her to go to Cuba, where she learned about Trova, Feeling, and the Cuban Son. She participated with the Latin Jazz group Mezcla at La Zorra y el Cuervo jazz club (The Fox and the Crow) in La Havana. Later she moved to London for seven years, where Della Rods, Cerys Hogg, and Clare Foster trained her in modern harmony and vocal improvisation. Pepa participated in several workshops and classes directed by the London Community Gospel Choir as well. Additionally, she sang in the recording project of the pianist Jonathan Idiagbonya at the BBC Maida Vale Studios.

Do you want to know your vocal range? To be able to sing higher notes without damaging your voice? To learn how to sing transitional notes? To achieve a powerful yet agile voice?

My name is Matteo Schifanoia, I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels. My lessons focus on developing body, muscle, and vocal awareness, which helps us perceive and consider our bodies as musical instruments.

My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre).

The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility.

From a repertoire perspective, the lessons will be tailored to the student's needs and interests, with an emphasis on proper stage presence and posture. I can prepare students for conservatory entrance exams and all types of auditions. If the student wishes, I can also provide instruction in harmony and music reading.

Passionate about the performing arts, I have worked in theatre, dance and music. I began my singing career with musical theatre and then opera.
I teach alongside my stage activities because it is a joy to share the love of singing, a discipline that is rich physically, artistically and mentally.
Every voice is unique, and it's important to adapt to each student's personality, desires, and background. I enjoy exploring and researching with my students to help them bring out and develop their voices to the fullest extent of their abilities.

My courses are based on 3 main principles:

- Vocal technique: developing a healthy and solid technique, giving confidence and freedom while singing. Breathing, muscle support, stretching and vocal range homogeneity, agility...

- Musicality: ear training, sense of rhythm, phrasing, exploration of vocal nuances and colors

- Interpretation: Text work, projection, repertoire discovery, song construction

I divide the sessions into half an hour of technical exercises adapted to the level and needs, then another half hour devoted to learning a piece.

I offer private lessons in opera singing and vocal coaching, tailored to your level, needs, and desires. 🎶

As a mezzo-soprano opera singer, I graduated with a Master's degree in opera singing from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I also completed a year of training at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, where I deepened my vocal technique in Italian bel canto.

My method is based on the techniques of operatic art, enriched by my years of training in Belgium and Italy as well as by my professional experience.

🎤 For all levels and all voices

My courses are suitable for both beginners and experienced singers, in operatic singing as well as other styles: pop, variety, jazz, rock or spoken voice.

Whether you wish to discover your voice, progress technically, gain confidence, prepare for an audition, an exam or simply enjoy singing, I offer personalized support according to your objectives.

🌿 A free voice begins with a relaxed body

I pay particular attention to physical relaxation, breathing, and the prevention of vocal tension. My work with speech therapists specializing in voice has allowed me to deepen my understanding of the link between the body and the voice.

I also completed training in polyvagal theory, which enriched my understanding of the links between breath, bodily sensations, and voice. Breathing, relaxation, and vibration exercises can therefore be integrated into the course to prepare the body and promote freer vocal expression.

🎶 Develop a natural and projected voice

The goal is to find a natural projection of the voice, without forcing or creating unnecessary tension, by progressively working on the coordination between breathing, body and vocal production.

Depending on your needs, we can work:

- breathing and support
- posture and body relaxation
- vocal technique and placement
- voice projection
- diction and articulation
- musicality and repertoire
- Body expression and interpretation
- preparation for auditions, exams and concerts

🎭 Theatre in service of the voice

Alongside my musical training, I also have a background in theatre, particularly in the Stanislavski method. This approach allows me to explore voice and interpretation through the body, sensations, images, and intentions.

These tools can be particularly useful for developing a freer, more expressive and personal voice, both in singing and speaking.

✨ My goal: to help you discover your vocal potential and find your own voice, through work that is technical, physical and artistic.

Beginner, amateur, opera singer or simply curious to explore your voice: you are welcome!

Feel free to contact me to discuss your goals and schedule your first lesson. 🎶

The Human Voice has an intimate and emotional connection with our physical body and mentality, whenever we express ourself through speaking, singing, improvising or simply long to express what words cannot, the voice is one of the most direct and authentic ways to connect with ourselves and with others.

Drawing on my professional training in Jazz Vocal at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, my background in Chinese traditional music, and years of personal practice in yoga and qigong, I have developed an organic, embodied approach to vocal expression. Rather than focusing only on vocal technique, I guide students to explore the relationship between breath, body awareness, deep listening, and the natural flow of energy (Qi). Through this process, the voice becomes freer, more grounded, and more expressive.

My lessons are open to singers of all levels, as well as anyone who wishes to reconnect with their voice. Whether your goal is to sing, improvise, build confidence, or discover a more authentic way of expressing yourself, I offer a supportive and creative space where curiosity and individuality are encouraged.

Hi! I’m Anastasija, a professional jazz pianist with an artistic and pedagogical Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano, with Classical Piano as my secondary subject. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Piano at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp.
I have several years of teaching experience and offer individual lessons in jazz, pop and classical piano, with a particular focus on jazz, improvisation and developing your own musical voice.
Whether you are a complete beginner, already have some experience, or want to dive deeper into jazz, we can work on improvisation, chords, repertoire, technique, ear training and music theory – always adapted to your interests and goals.
