The term "Oxbridge" is a collective term that refers to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, the two oldest, wealthiest, and most exclusive educational establishments in the United Kingdom. Both are regularly listed amongst the top universities in the world and entry is correspondingly difficult. The notoriously tough process consists of personal statements, references, interviews, aptitude tests and more. As a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, I am well-versed with the admissions process and have personally experienced the challenges and requirements of gaining admission to these universities. It is recommended that students have a very strong academic background, but a good academic background does not necessarily exclude the student from making a successful application. N.b.
