About Me

- I am a Canadian living in Strasbourg for a year, teaching oral English classes at a university level. I was also teaching music back home to children aged 4-15. I would create lessons, give them things to work on at home, and guide them to become better musicians
- I have always had a passion for teaching and I love helping people achieve their goals

I'm a Turkish student living in Strasbourg and I would like to help people who are interested in leaning a new language or would just want to develop common skills (such as speaking, reading, writing, listening ) or a better use of Turkish grammar and vocabulary.
All my grandmothers are Turkish Literature teachers so I have grown in an environment full of our language's gifts and mysteries.

I am a student at Centrale Paris, one of the best engineering schools in France, and I am looking to give lessons in Math, Physics and English in Strasbourg in person (and elsewhere in distance) to students in college and high school, or even Post -bac.

I am very motivated and professional, my approach to private lessons comes from my own prep courses, it is simple and effective: learn your course perfectly, apply it to a large number of simple exercises to learn how to apply, then to a number of complicated exercises to learn to master the course.

I am an English teacher and tutor.

My approach to teaching is based mostly on the Communicative Method. Everything we do - reading, writing, listening, grammar has an end goal of serving a communicative purpose.
I do not lecture, and I try to keep my talking to a minimum. It is about You, and you should be talking the most.
I like to elicit and get a lot of information from my students', that helps in building their confidence in the language and reducing my teacher talk time.
And finally, my approach is FUN. We need to enjoy what we are doing. I create lessons that are engaging, motivating and interesting. We need to have a laugh and not take things too seriously. Language is play and play is fun, if it's not then we will get bored.

I have been teaching English for over 8 years now in a few different countries. I love teaching English and getting the most out of my students. I take a great interested in supporting you in your language journey and success.

With me, I will support you, challenge you, and create lessons specifically for you. That way, you will enjoy the lessons and see improvement.

Generally, I create a lesson built around a theme or topic and from there I introduce a 'bite size' instruction for revision and practice. For example, a new grammar or vocabulary topic. The focus is ultimately on communication and getting the most out of you.
